I do worry about pushing everyone towards clubs. Clubs are cool and fun places, but they're not magical places where all your dreams come true and places where people throw them selfs at you. As with everything you get out what you put in. If you find it difficult to interact with people in day to day life that's not going to disappear soon as you walk through the door. So do your research and know what your getting yourself into, might save a lot of disappointment. Some clubs like Purple Mamba do workshops for new people, take a look at these type of things first.
