Lap dancing clubs baned in Bristol what of the other clubs
Jump to: Newest in thread
Interesting that these people fight for equality and the right for women to walk down the street without fear etc (and rightly so) yet at the same time putting hundreds of women out of work and telling them them how they can and can't use their bodies.
This will of course make this line of work become unregulated, much like prostitution, which will put the ladies involved at a massively increased risk.
I honestly wonder what world the people making these suggestions live in. |

"I heard on fab other day if lap dancing clubs get shut swinging clubs will also have their licences refused and be forced to shut "
Although we are not really fans of pole dancing clubs, it's a worry that there might well be a consequent threat to swinging clubs. |

Liberations is the only swinging I can think of in Bristol and they seem to be planning events for after covid. So, the powers that be haven't yet turned their attentions that way. |

There is a consultation on going its not been decided yet but supposedly been put to the public for debate..depends if visitors to the venues will openly support the case to keep them open..also they will have reports of from the police etc it will depend if there has been reports of drugs or violence on or at the premises same as any licenced premises..bars night clubs included if police are called to violence frequently then they often loose the licence often be it temporary why they replace the landlord |

"Sadly I think maybe swingers clubs may get some flak
The argument used will be “ objectification of women” probably
We can but see"
As the women who go to swingers clubs are not paid to go there, that might be a hard one to argue.
But it would be interesting if swingers clubs were forced to close while gay clubs could stay open.
Hopefully the Gay / Lesbian community would fight for our equality. |
