We are happy to send you a review we recieved on it recently, for our German list, this review was done by a Dutch Couple who normally go to Fun4two and various other upscale European clubs. They haven't been to any clubs in the UK. We had to edit it down a bit but it might help you. Remember, it is only one couples opinion. We plan to go there in 2013, if we can fit it in. If you want the short version, they gave it 5 stars out of 5. We have another team going in September, so we are waiting to see what they think.

" Do you think that the British scene would take clubs charging couples £80-£100 and £45 for single fems? I'm not familiar with the European scene are there other clubs charging £20/£30 per couple too or only these very up market places? |

"...Do you think that the British scene would take clubs charging couples £80-£100 and £45 for single fems?...only these very up market places?"
In two parts, firstly you wouldn't want to have the British clubs pricing themselves at Continental prices. Europrean clubs often work on a flat rate basis with a proper meal / running hot & cold buffet included, together with all the drinks you can handle. And there's the rub, the Europeans are a lot better at handling their booze than the Brits would ever be. Try that in a British club and it would be like kicking out time in Ibiza, before the clocks strike midnight...hardly what you go to a swingers club for is it?
Secondly, yes they usually ARE that upmarket. |

Agree with that - can you imagine having loads of Police vans rounding up outside the local swingers clubs on a Friday/Saturday night???? The Sun would have a field day!!
As for what they charge on the continent, it's like anything else: a combination of 'what the market will stand' and price conditioning. Having trawled through loads of club websites for the UK, the prices are pretty similar no matter where you are in the country (almost like they have not done their own business plan and just copied everyone else!) and what you get for your money may well be very different to what you get once you cross the channel.
The other thing that affects the entrance charge is the difference in licensing laws here (which has been discussed at length on another thread recently), and - crucially - the onus on the establishment to be responsible for security and behaviour of it's clientele - hence everything is done a little (without wishing to 'diss' any clubs efforts to rise above it) on the cheap in many ways. Too many things (mostly legal) conspiring against the owners to make their club stand out like the ones mentioned in comment above do.

having been to many clubs in Europe my my FFB I can tell you that the top clubs in Europe and Clubs in the UK are not even comparable. The top European clubs are far superior in every aspect.
European clubs are incredible value for money.
I would gladly pay between ?100-200 pounds to get into a European style club, if there was one in the UK.
In fact why isn't there one...
Someone must be doing it, maybe they are and I am not invited...

we can't say anything about this one but we lived in Germany until 5 years ago.
The clubs there are not comparable to the ones over here.
They are a lot cleaner (people tend to clean up after themselves)
very well looked after and they don't need licenses for everything.
usually all drinks including alcohol are free and they usually put a great buffet on, too. People follow the rules more than over here (from our experience that is)
inbox us if you want to know more.
have fun!
