I just Googled VA to see what if anything they were planning/hoping once lockdown eases but their website seems to have vanished (and of course fabs club reviews are suspended) - does anyone know if they are still on business? I really hope so as we love MILF Wednesday parties and can’t wait till we can return! |

"Hi all, VA is well and truly under control, We were very close to being flooded out, we haven't stopped since the first lock down, loads of refurbishment done and will be complete by opening night, when ever that may be. We can't wait to see you all back "

I'm very confident that they are are going to reopen as soon as legal guidance says they safely can.
They are doing lots of refurbishment for the future.
I'm looking forward to it, even if it is relaxing outside in the Lux Lounge area with socially distanced measures in space.

Thanks all - I’m not on FB so couldn’t check that but that is reassuring!
We were talking about this the other day and my partner observed that provided they own the premises the overheads shouldn’t be too crippling during lockdown...can’t wait to get back there, hopefully with vaccination passports to the couples’ room!  |

Hi all. As part of the staff team I can reassure you that The Vanilla Alternative and Lux Lounge will reopen as soon as the law allows. The whole staff team are in regular contact via social media and the club owner has been working hard to update the club internally. Hopefully we will have some idea of a reopening timeline after the PM's roadmap speech next Monday (22nd).
We've missed you all and look forward to seeing you again as soon as possible. |

We can’t wait to return to the VA. Having only discovered it a little under two years ago with our first ever club visit, we returned several times in 2019 and the beginning of 2020.
People are friendly, atmosphere is amazing and lots of fun for anyone and everyone.
So hoping to return soon. |

I’m really hoping that any meeting outdoors restrictions will allow them to reopen Lux Lounge. It was a brilliant use of their outdoor space and I honestly think it helped preserve my sanity last summer. |

As a small business owner who has stopped trading during the pandemic but not closed for good, I've stopped paying for my website temporarily so you currently just get an error page. They might have done the same to save money at the moment. |

Hopefully with their outdoor area, they will be able to put things in place to open again in due course flowing current legislation for that time.

There are a few brands that are quite inexpensive, you can get them from savers etc, I put a little bit little bit all over after exfoliating, and then I use moisturiser to rub it in (that ensures no streaks).
If you do that to around 3 times in a week or two up to the event and then just maintain it once or twice a week you will have a year round easy safe tan.
It is a little bit at a time, so it's more of a buildup, and by rubbing all over with moisturiser straight afterwards and exfoliating in the shower beforehand, it ensures an even application and no streaks.
Really easy to do and only adds a minute or two to your routine.
(I exfoliate everyday in the shower with exfoliating gloves with my body wash on, and I moisturise daily after my shower anyway so the only extra bit is adding the tan) |

Jules here from the VA.
All of us here at the club hope that you're all well and relatively sane still.
Just to update you all on the club and how things are here.
Firstly, despite all the rumour mongers, the club is still alive and kicking, I have not closed the doors for good, quite the opposite in fact. Since November myself and Chris with help from various people have not stopped working on coming back bigger, brighter and classier than ever.
Reception has been revamped, we have a whole new mini nightclub where the snug used to be with an amazing lighting rig and new sound system, all designed and built by our new resident DJ, none other than the amazing “Fat Controller” who after 7 years of my pestering him has finally succumbed to my pleas to come on board with us. We will still have the ever popular blonde bombshell “Leah” guest DJing.
The couples locker rooms have been moved and where they were is a stunning new space for you all to enjoy. The old Tempsford room is a stunning lounge and play space
Despite the flooding on Boxing Day which left Chris and myself homeless (we still are) the garden and terrace have been cleaned up and repaired so Lux will be back alongside the sunshine.
To compliment this we have the new website going live in a week or so to reflect the rebirth of the club and the new times we find ourselves in.
So far as far as special events and dates for the diary go we have....
Saturday 24th April, London Alternative Market,11am until 7pm in the garden
We reopen inside on 19th May, with the return of the ever popular Milf Club from 11am until 5pm
Bi night is back on the last Friday of every month
FOF reborn is the first weekend in August
And August bank holiday weekend is a non lifestyle garden festival.
Obviously if Boris changes his mind we may have to jiggle things around but fingers crossed things will go to plan.
We will post all dates etc on the new website and post the new web address in the forums.

LUX Lounge is an out door venue, with an outside bar. Assuming the time scales stays as BoJo suggests, pubs and outs venues with beer gardens can open. X |

We will announce all of the dates for all events shortly. But yes the first weekend being the 6th/7th and most likely a chill down day on the 8th however not yet confirmed |

VA was able to last time as a private members nudist retreat. It was all socially distanced. Think its to do with the type of licence/permit they have. (I'm sure someone knows all the legal stuff and can clarify the specifics)I imagine it will be much the same for milf club on the 19th May |

clubs like VA , Bristol Gdns and Eurekas were open most of the summer last year so don't be surprised if they open before the nighttime venues as they have different licencing |

It market that sells kink everything,clothing,toys,restraints etc.Great vibe and at Va as can’t run in as name suggests London cause of covid.Normally first Sunday of month.I’m going then and already know two stalls that I’ll be shopping at |

I'm planning on going to the London alternative market there as well.
It's always great to see so many handcrafted items and be in the atmosphere.
The vanilla is such a gorgeous club to host it.
Hopefully I will see a couple of familiar faces there. |

Jules here from the VA.
All of us here at the club hope that you're all well and relatively sane still.
Just to update you all on the club and how things are here.
Firstly, despite all the rumour mongers, the club is still alive and kicking, I have not closed the doors for good, quite the opposite in fact. Since November myself and Chris with help from various people have not stopped working on coming back bigger, brighter and classier than ever.
Reception has been revamped, we have a whole new mini nightclub where the snug used to be with an amazing lighting rig and new sound system, all designed and built by our new resident DJ, none other than the amazing “Fat Controller” who after 7 years of my pestering him has finally succumbed to my pleas to come on board with us. We will still have the ever popular blonde bombshell “Leah” guest DJing.
The couples locker rooms have been moved and where they were is a stunning new space for you all to enjoy. The old Tempsford room is a stunning lounge and play space
Despite the flooding on Boxing Day which left Chris and myself homeless (we still are) the garden and terrace have been cleaned up and repaired so Lux will be back alongside the sunshine.
To compliment this we have the new website going live in a week or so to reflect the rebirth of the club and the new times we find ourselves in.
So far as far as special events and dates for the diary go we have....
Saturday 24th April, London Alternative Market,11am until 7pm in the garden
We reopen inside on 19th May, with the return of the ever popular Milf Club from 11am until 5pm
Bi night is back on the last Friday of every month
FOF reborn is the first weekend in August
And August bank holiday weekend is a non lifestyle garden festival.
Obviously if Boris changes his mind we may have to jiggle things around but fingers crossed things will go to plan.
We will post all dates etc on the new website and post the new web address in the forums.
I would like to thank you all for your kind words and best wishes both personally and as the owner of the VA, it has been a dreadful time that has taken a lot of support from the team and friends and members to get through, the place is still only a building, you all make it a great club to be a part of.

We seen the thread headline and our hearts sank! So thankful that VA is alive and kicking and we can’t wait to book an overnight (or 2) stay. Look forward to seeing all the wonderful staff as well as friends new and old.

I've been many times in the past and only single men needed to book and get a confirmation that they are on the list.
Couples and ladies could attend without being on the list. I'm not sure if there will be any changes to to the procedure when they reopen at that is how it used to be |
