Speaking as someone who hasn't been to a club, but has a fairly good idea of how television (at least the bog five) edit things...
It struck me that it wasn't presenting a typical night at that club. But it also didn't strike me as inauthentic. I'd echo the words of the older lady- I'm glad I found swinging, and my only regret is that I didn't earlier. |

It struck me that it wasn't presenting a typical night at that club. But it also didn't strike me as inauthentic. I'd echo the words of the older lady- I'm glad I found swinging, and my only regret is that I didn't earlier."
I'd love to now why my Autocorrect is so keen on the word "bog," but I did of course mean "big." |

Hi all
Regarding the Liberty Elite website it’s down because it has breached the amount of traffic it is set to handle because of the interest resulting from the documentary.
The website was changed a few months ago to a static landing page saying the club is closed anyway.
The club is closed and will remain closed until government say it’s safe to open it again.

It wouldn't be a typical night. Not many people would agree to be filmed in a swingers club, I guess it isn't easy with a camera following you around. I would think it's normally a lot busier than that, pre Covid |

We watched this 1st time it was on. Its so strange seeing a place on tele that we've had so many filthy times at  we remember going there and xtasia before filming they had posters up asking who would be interested in being in the documentaries. Omg imagine all our vanilla friends and family watching us on tele ???? |

Did anyone think the attitude of the girl with long hair and glasses was abit strange. It seemed it was all about her and her husband was a tag on. I did feel a bit sorry when they went in the playroom, but she went on about her and wanting a woman. Her face in the interview when her husband said about him playing said it all! Lol |

The guy who met Malika is on here and from his posts lat time this was on he's a really lovely guy. Watched it, and aside from Malika and her playmate, full marks goes to the couple who were clearly nervous, and yet despite their disappointment they were both determined to persevere, which is sometimes what it's all about in order to get 'up to speed' in the confidence department. Admirable!

I thought it was a great mature insight into the lifestyle.
Swinging is much more mainstream than people realise.
Libs is a 10 min drive away from my house.... if only they had a Bi night! |

As mentioned elsewhere, it's a point that often gets overlooked that playing is optional, first and foremost always, your body, your rules.
We did get put off at one place as somebody did say to us on turning them down, why you bloody here then...
It wasn't to entertain someone from deliverance.

We watched it last year & thought it was a fairly balanced programme for a change. Even though the camera’s kept a lot of people away, we definitely intend to go there once we can. Best wishes to all who appeared on the programme  |

We saw the documentary the first time round, then went to Libs for the first time last Halloween. It was just a social, with many areas out of bounds, but the club is definitely on our list to visit properly in the future. Their accommodation is lush! |

When they are allowed to open again, just check their website and see their rules for single men. Most clubs limit the number of single men on most nights, and some nights/events are only available for couples, no single men. Once you know which event you're interested in, then you would need to contact the club and follow their requirements. |

We attended libertyelite after watching the documentary. They had reopened for socials only, unfortunately it was a quiet evening but very enjoyable none the less. The accommodation was excellent value for the money, very roomy and spotless. We had a very interesting chat to the owner John who told us about the history of the club. The club had an extensive referb during the first lockdown and was very tastefully done. Definitely our first visit to a club will hopefully be back to Libs. |

That’s lovely to hear, we have been regulars at the club for 15 years and are really missing our 2nd home at the moment. |

Malika was planted there by Channel 4 . The lap dancing club she dances at which was seen at the beginning is in Great Yarmouth. Why on earth would you travel all that way to go to Libs? . She was head hunted and probably was able to name her price for appearing . It was all very very staged |

Just feel I need to comment as I didn't feel the programme showed Liberties to the high standard it is.....if you thought it was a good club watching it then your going to LOVE it when we eventually get back to some sort of normality. Staff are so friendly, club itself is lovely and clean, rooms are really great and the club is just a great club to go to whether your new to the scene OR very experienced you are welcomed with a smile and some great music. We had never been before to a club and looked into many and decided to take the plunge....never looked back!! (Only recently on our memories ha ha due to COVID) as we miss it so much. Anyone thinking about going to this club(eventually) you will not be disappointed ....P.S check DarkDesires Parties out.....you WILL see us there!! |

I’m lucky enough to have been a member of this amazing club for the past 10 years and look forward to getting back once we’re able to again.
Despite having to travel along way I recommend Libs to all for the warm welcome and amazing party nights, especially the Hot Wives Club where everyone is so friendly, the social is epic and that’s even before any fun begins and normally continues well into the next day.
Best wishes to all + hope to catch up again soon.

I would have to be staged due to married and partnered people and people needing to disguise their identity and give permission to be filmed. It is hard enough making YouTube videos without pissing people off. |

People come from all over the country to visit Libs and no doubt other clubs around the country.
We have to stay overnight it’s all part of the fun with the choice of on site accommodation or hotels nearby.

To those saying the show was staged, it was and it wasn't.
It wasn't a standard night, the club was closed for filming, so in that it was staged BUT....
All guests volunteered to be in the show, the club had posters up for months asking for people to participate.
From my understanding yes the setting was staged but the guests were real.
To be fair you cannot just walk into a standard club night with a film crew, that is never going to happen. Any documentary of a swing club is always going to have to be staged in some way but I think this was probably the best ‘real world’ example you are going to get. |

We have to say, after watching the program it brought loads of great memories of the club and party scene (lockdown restrictions)....
We would dearly love to travel and attend a night at Libs at some stage (when it’s safe of course). Hopefully sooner rather than later   |

With you 100%. We never expect to play when going to a club or a party. Of course we have the benefit of each other but playing with others is always a bonus that’s greatly appreciated. |
