"The thread just won’t die.... End of part 2: “Crikey, I can’t remember how much I spent on the actual night, but it was a bloody good laugh and I knew I’d had a skinful the next day Other people were counting the costs of their club visits, so I felt it reasonable to explain my thinking? To be fair; in the days leading up to that particular Friday night, I did regular status posts asking for a lift/share tax fare, changing my location to the Hyatt postcode. The only responses I received were from bi/gay men looking for local hook-ups....... “ Not disagreeing at all, getting properly wassocked on a night out is a hundred quid or so. Whereas in a swingers club you won’t / shouldn’t be getting hammered. So maybe suggest looking it as a straight choice, spending 100 quid on drinks in bars or on sexy party time in swingers clubs. There is no right answer, both have their merits. " It was a straight choice; going out with a bunch of friends to get hammered and have a good laugh together, or spend £120 to visit a club I’ve never been to, and know nobody in, having plenty of similar experiences in other clubs where (to bring the thread full circle), as a solo guy, it’s very easy to feel awkward, and out of place........ Depending on covid (and it looks highly unlikely at the moment), I may face the same dilemma in March, when my work takes me back to Birmingham for the weekend again........hmm! Choices choices!

Not been a big drinker I guess it’s easy for me to say going to the swingers club would win easy.A much harder choice for me would be a night out at the at the swingers club or a night out at the casino with the same £100 for me the casino would probably edge it.

This partly made my mind up about visiting the club, as paying for an annual membership (£40), for a one-off visit, held no value for me.
