I think there are too many variables and unknowns to even hazard a guess at when they will reopen fully.
I think everyone on here is hoping for early summer |

"Will the roll out of the vaccines not move opening of clubs ? "
No the magical vaccine is not the answer. Most club demographics are the under 50s who will be last in line and there are soooooo many people who don't want the vaccine. We cannot and will not exclude people because they have chosen to decline the vaccine. It is their right to do so.
So clubs need a multi faceted approach to open fully again. We need the vaccine available to everyone who wants it, we need relyable, accurate and affordable fast testing for those who haven't been vaccinated and we need to be able to allow households to mix and have close contact once inside.
It's going to be a long time off

"None of us were planning on opening for swinging parties anytime soon anyway, so it's same shit, different day for us. We're all, quite literally, winging it.
But don't despair, there's an abundance of private parties going on nationwide who would love to take your cash instead
Really?? Please share where? Or where to look online???? "

If you would seriously consider a swinging party atm you are part of the reason we are all in this mess. How disrespectful to the clubs trying to do it right. |

"Will the roll out of the vaccines not move opening of clubs ? " even with a vaccine you can still pass the virus on to others. The clubs, will be, among the very last to re open which is such a shame as I love them xx

This government doesn't build roads without a delay or bad planning, just take a look at HS2, clubs or any business will be lucky to be open before 2030. |

Crazy for anyone thinking that clubs are going to survive this, let alone open again. Be realistic, it will never be feasible for them to ever open again |

Disagree about the vaccines they are the answer as it gives the majority herd immunity. I don't worry about catching Mumps measels or rubella because I've had the vaccine. Yes it will take a few months to roll it out.
The vaccine denial people or those who cannot have will just have to take the risk or stay away from the risk. The world keeps turning we adapt based on our own personal risk . |

I have had info shared with me from someone in Public health has stated that the government have estimated that only 42% of people will be vaccinated by this time next year due to many factors, which isn't enough for herd immunity. By this time next year, those who had the vaccine first will most probably need a repeat.
Time will tell, but right now I know many more people who won't have the vaccine than those who will. Unless these people can be convinced to have the vaccine, herd immunity is going to be difficult to achieve.
Again, time will tell xxx |
