As in you can see you family/friends over the course of 5 days, but no more than 3 households over those 5 days.

I suppose that meeting 200 from multiple households at Eurekas might be pushing it then ????

Providing they are authorised by the council and police and adhere to the regulations and the law and Covid compliant, they can operate like a pub or restaurant. Social only I have no doubt but I can't see why they can't open..

Yup, clubs can open as bars if they serve meals. No swinging, table service only, separate tables, no mixing of households.

Yeh but it's ok, coz there's tons of private parties going on every weekend

I get invites to parties along these lines....

'Seeing as the club is closed and you have your weekends to yourselves, would you like to come to our private swinging party, £20 and bring a bottle'.

Erm...so I'm losing money everyday because we can't open for swinging parties, but you'd like me to pay you instead to attend an illegal gathering? Talk about kicking us while we're down hahahaha

Unfortunately any service that is in demand and not readily available is going to go underground.

You can't control this.

I get how it's a kick in the teeth for you though when you jump through hoops to keep yourselves afloat.

Rest assured though that those kind of events won't affect your club once you are reopen. Most prefer a safe and legal establishment to enjoy the lifestyle.

It might do clubs well to stop the inequality that has been around for years and charge women and couples the same as single guys in future.

If they’d charged everyone the same entrance fee over the years then many clubs wouldn’t be facing the prospect of bankruptcy.

This has been said n done before

Normally a couple will pay more in the long run anyways

Hotels or taxi to club double the bar tab

Flood clubs with single guys and you lose a lot of couples who prefer nights without single guys

Or limit the number of single guys and that could mean turning them away after they have driven miles

Don't know many single guys that book hotel beforehand incase there's a slim chance they get offered play unlike many couples who prefer to stay over

So yes they pay a little more but overall cost of a night out is still probably half to that of a couple

As for clubs opening we are looking forward to getting back into then even if it's only for socials to start with

Really can't see a lot of people's negativity towards clubs reopening when they are happy to go to private parties which give same risks

Nobody forces people to play at clubs or even play with multiple people that night

Any meet is a risk but some are prepared to take it now

We wish all the clubs the very best during these hard times and we will be back as soon as allowed

Nonsense. So the next time I attend a concert in a different city and have travel and accommodation costs I should pay less for my ticket stub?

What goes on out with the club premises shouldn’t come into it.

This is becoming a different kind of silly now.

I was merely stating the obvious that if they’d charged women and couples the same as men they’d have more funds in their reserves to see them through these difficult times.

By not doing so it’s coming back to bite them on the erchie when the for sale sign goes above the doors

Would you want to go to a club that has 100 guys loitering and 15 couples cause I know we wouldnt

And clubs we use guys pay roughly 5 quid more than a couple if that's too much then perhaps shouldn't bother attending

Most single guys attend to get one thing they are not bothered about the lifestyle

It really wouldn't cause they would lose the couples that aren't interested in single guys

The clubs we attend are normally more busy on couples only nights and like we stated couples spend way more behind the bar

Because many couples are looking for single women and sadly they are just not as common as men

Look at members on this site for every couple there's probably 100 single guys compared to about 5 single women

It wouldn’t bother me too much as I enjoy the social aspect as much as the play side. As per the bio on my profile.

I’ll ask again, if as you say it’s only a fiver difference then why are men charged more than women?

And again the simple answer there are 5 times as many single guys as single women who attend clubs

As a business you would want to keep all parties happy low prices for single women mean the few there are attend higher prices for couples and single guys keeps numbers reduced

No body would want to enter a club full of single guys if there wasn't nothing else to play with

I feel your pain we have both gone to clubs alone and she has had free entry or paid very little

I have had to pay a higher price but I've accepted this as it keeps a reasonable ratio of male to females

No body is telling you to go to a club but if you want to go to one and have women or couples to play with then they have to restrict numbers and it also helps keep out guys who think that they are sure to get play cause they've paid

It's a simple supply and demand

Agree we have attended your club and have seen your adverts n prices

Many clubs also offer reduced nights or offer regular visitors discounts

Many charge a fiver more which personally I'd be happy to pay

Some London clubs are extortionate prices for single guys

I've also travelled 70 odd miles to attend a club as a single guy only to be told at the door that they have reached there limit of guys for that evening and wouldn't be getting in

"

Off topic slightly, but as a single woman who is hoping to go to a club for the first time next year (?? If they’re open!) I’m finding this thread interesting.

I’m not interested in couples, so I’m wondering if I eventually do go to a club if it’s going to be a let down because there are limited single men. I’ve heard of clubs only letting a few men in, and I worry I’d go to a club and find all five or ten or whatever of them are just not my type! (I’m quite picky, as we all should be )

I know I could meet a man on here & go with him as a couple but I really like the idea of going alone and having my pick of multiple men

Obviously there’s the social side too. I guess I won’t know until I actually go to a club/s and find one I like.

Oh your have no issues of meeting single males, Plenty of them to choose from. And remember No thank you is all you need to say!

Males, females and couples generally reasonably good mix at most clubs. Some do female and couple only days, but in general your be okay.

Enjoy.

I go to clubs loads as a single girl and only play with single men... Always been plenty of choice at events. They limit the numbers so it’s a more even feel, it’s not so there’s no men at all.

I do only go to events though and not just turn up xx

Well that’s what I mean, I’ve seen some people saying on here that only limited numbers of single men get in on some nights. But I guess it’s a case of finding the right nights/clubs.

I go to clubs loads as a single girl and only play with single men... Always been plenty of choice at events. They limit the numbers so it’s a more even feel, it’s not so there’s no men at all.

I do only go to events though and not just turn up xx"

That is good to hear!! Thanks!

Have a look at the events around when they do open cupids do an event called greedy girls were they're there for the single men there 're events that clubs do to cater for everybody xx

Ive heard of those events but I’m not sure they’d be for me, I’m very much a top! I want to have my pick of cute boys, not be the centre of attention. I don’t want much, I know "

. Hi Gaslight I see you are a bit apprehensive about greedy girl night / events. I have attended greedy girls night at OP4F which is in London like yourself and you do not have to do anything you don’t want to and if there is only one guy there that you like the look off you can chat and play just with him.Hope this helps to give you a bit of reassurance.

Not *apprehensive*, they just wouldn’t really be my thing I really as I’m a top. Also I’m not into straight guys. I’ve seen OP4F does a bi night so maybe that’d be a thing for me as long as they’re cool with straight single women! As I say, I’ll have to try a few clubs/nights to see what suits me.

"They will be fined and made to close you will be fined as well if caught

Providing they are authorised by the council and police and adhere to the regulations and the law and Covid compliant, they can operate like a pub or restaurant. Social only I have no doubt but I can't see why they can't open..

Yup, clubs can open as bars if they serve meals. No swinging, table service only, separate tables, no mixing of households.

So will townhouse on the wirral be opening as a bar then."

No, as the owners have stated in lots of threads, they won't be open again until they can open as a swingers club. ie when social distancing no longer applies. They don't serve food and the layout of the club means they couldn't allow enough people in to make it financially viable to open as a bar.

Why are you worried when it's unlikely clubs will be open for play until possibly this time next year or later? Worry then

Where was I worrying? I am pondering what I might be into when clubs are open. While clubs are closed is an excellent time to discuss, ponder and wonder.

I was literally just moaning on another thread that none of the clubs we've been to which have bi nights also have a gloryhole. I forgot about this little gem!

I really hope they manage to reopen. We're going to head down on a Sunday and play with all the gloryhole dick together!

So we ask again would you be happy to pay the same entrance then get inside to find a club full of men waiting to play

Lack of men will be least of your worries.

Also a Spa is not a swinging club or bar so currently it comes under a health venue. But believe me it will get noted and they can`t sell food or drink. and am sure planning is also looking at venues who say they are a club then a bar then a spa and lets see there rate bill as that could change.

No but if you say you're a spa and then feel your then going to play music and have a DJ / disco. It could bite you back am A nightclub I used to be Tech manager for lost their venue after planning was like hang you're a nightclub with a licenced for that but your planning say 1t a industrial unit. yep, they were closed down. As they dont check planning when they issues the licence and due to someone being gunned down planning was asked to look at the full block. 4 venues was closed all due to planning issues.

"It might do clubs well to stop the inequality that has been around for years and charge women and couples the same as single guys in future.

If they’d charged everyone the same entrance fee over the years then many clubs wouldn’t be facing the prospect of bankruptcy."

Oh, absolutely nothing to do with the lock down or tier system then?

You're mixing one argument with your situation.

The Gatehouse charges exactly the same for each person. Man, woman tgirl or each of a couple plus no membership.

We wish all the clubs the very best during these hard times and we will be back as soon as allowed "

Very well put and I second what you say

You are making assumptions. Unless you know exactly how clubs work, operate and all the nuances involved, then it's just your opinion. You can have your own opinion but you can't have your own facts

I used to run a event in London it was a Fetish/swinger event we started charging £5 females £40 couples and £80 for single males but then the Equality act came into play. We changed our format to everyone £20pp or £30 non members pp but we added a limit of 10 non member males and 10 extra member males. membership was giving away. and all male tickets was sold on the website with us not picking who attended so first come first served.

And our income went up and we still had a limit on single males but it was fair. and what we found out single females and couples wanting males was very happy with the way we priced the event as often they came as a group so there male friends was put off.

I kind of assume that a business understands what works for them. They are not hobbies, they are a means to earn a living. This is honestly the most stale conversation on here

Regardless of the Equality Act 2010, if you were a members club you COULD have continued charging what you like; I'm sure you know this. So you simply chose to have gender neutral pricing

Most fetish events, including ours are the same price across the board regardless of gender.

I don't understand how your income went up ? Member couples pay the same as they did before. Single men pay a quarter of what they did before. Did you have so many more single women coming paying four times as much as they used to that it made more profit ?
