Wrong but i do not think club owners would be foolish enough to let this happen.

Just because your friend tested positive doesn't mean that they contracted it at the club. It could have been literally any time since their previous test and their latest one.

Did they take details? Surely they should be contacting folk to get tested or isolate now?

Interesting use of the word responsible. This person went to a club and played.

I haven't heard of any clubs that allow play, the ones that I have been to since March have been very diligent about that.

BUT....

I don't see why the fuss (if some are)? There's no law that prohibits people in support bubbles from having sex. They are going to do it anyway, at least in a club they are temperature checked prior to entry so it's probably a safer environment?

"Just there names to sign in apparently he's trying to contact people who he met

I’m not sure he is more responsible... He was there and playing. If there wasn’t adequate track and trace on entry he shouldn’t have gone in. Definitely shouldn’t have played.

I meant responsible in the sense that hopefully he has enough details about those he's met so he can contact them. The club should have taken people's numbers or fab names incase if this eventuality.

The club's shouldn't be open but the people who go have to take responsibility. If you choose to go and fuck in the current climate you can't complain if you or you family become ill. Stupidity has its own kind of reward.

Fair enough, I was under the impression that temperature checks and Track n Trace details were mandatory for all clubs. If they failed to do then it's pretty irresponsible.

O o O oo

This is not fair really, you say he didn't play but has caught covid. It doesn't prove that play is allowed in a club as he could have caught it anywhere as you say he didn't get close to anyone

I am going to shut this now as it is all speculation. If you feel strongly about this and have proof maybe report it to the relevant authorities
