Hello we have never been to Eureka's before as it's a bit of a drive for us however we are traveling that way next Tuesday (IKEA run). We are thinking of popping in to have a look and get a feel for the place as it's somewhere we have thought about before. We have been to BGHS a few times and enjoyed it there.
Does anyone know what to expect on a weekday or have any advice?
Many thanks |

Hi guys, daytimes are a relaxed affair and an excellent intro to the club. Membership is issued on arrival on production of the relevant ID for each of you. With the new guidelines face coverings are required unless seated for food and drink. On arrival you’ll be asked to scan the QR code on your phones and complete the track and trace.
We hope this helps and look forward to seeing you |

Hi Frank, we met at Eureka on that beautiful Tuesday last week.
Can Eureka management confirm if the indoor facilities will open this year now it's getting bitterly cold outside.
Obviously clubs like clover spa, Silverleigh n Zeus spa are operating as normal indoors now.
I wonder if you could do the same? The drink licensing rule has dampened the weekend social nights I would guess so maybe it's time to utilise the areas of your club which can be used now?.. |

I do enjoy the lay out of the club in the summer and warmer days Now that the weather is turning colder and wet. how are you hosting couples
Are you allowing couples into the club house or you have heating outside
How does it work. Looking to attend in the few weeks
Thank you |

I can't imagine many people will want to sit around in the wind and rain. Either they will open the club house as best they can or shut up shop for the time being. It's strange that they haven't given any indication as to what there plans are. |

Drink
Nothing to use indoors.
Never saw new hours. It's says 7pm till late? "
Nothing to use indoors due to covid 19
Is what reads on the Web page. |

"Hi It’s always good listening to rumours always better to hear it from the horses mouth. And if I’m closing Sunday it’s for the night as I’ll be open again Monday
Regards "
What are your times of opening.
Does that also mean no music no dancing due to covid 19.
I be back some time.

So you’re not on the verge of closing for good? I’ll ask you direct cos you’re right, it’s better to ask you rather than listen to rumours |

Hope Eureka find a way of letting people indoors. I paid a couple of visits in the Summer and it was lovely as always. But the shocking weather has put paid to naked roaming in the fields and woods. I hear other nearby venues and spas have opened their doors. Hope Eureka can do so as well so they survive the winter. |

Let’s all just keep supporting our great club,
Even if it’s to pop up for a quick bite to eat.
Whatever facilities are open.
If every member donates something hopefully we can all keep this fantastic club open long into
The future.
I am sure the owners pockets are only so deep as we enter into these difficult winter months.
Dig deep everyone.
Wishing everyone all the best
Stay safe.

In these uncertain times more support might be forthcoming if clubs told "paying" customers what is available. Rumours are rife that the club is broke and on the verge of collapse, which would be a crying shame. I know they are advertising the annual Halloween event on FB but I honestly can't see how that's going to work outside and with the current restrictions. Hopefully the people who are running things now will decide to let's us know what the situation is. |

The silence from the club on this is very concerning |

"The silence from the club on this is very concerning
Mentioning any "event" is not allowed on the forum...don't ask me why tho "
Saying what facilities are available is very different from promoting an event.

I thought Halloween was an event...it used to be 31st of October...or has it been moved? |

It would be good if the website could be updated. It is still showing the summer opening times suggesting it hasn't been updated in a while. This itself will cause concern.
I assume it has to close at 10 under current guidelines? |

The club house is open
The bar is open we are doing food
The grounds are open Cabins are available
We are doing Halloween
We have posts on Facebook and Instagram Daily showing what’s on offer
Unfortunately we are governed by the legislation / rules in place currently But we are doing our best to work through this.

"Think I’m going to have to come to the Halloween event
This is a pre booked evening and you would need to make reservations as we are near capacity
Thank you"
Is it tables of 6 and we can move between tables or do we have to stay with the group we came with and if we can move about will dancing be allowed again? |

"Is it tables of 6 and we can move between tables
What do you think the point of "groups of 6" is? Jeez!"
It's a straight forward question. I know another club that lets us pretty much do whatever we want. |
