Generally been disappointed with Liaisons tbh...prefer Partners. However with any club, it all depends who's there on the night you go, so may just have been unlucky.

I have found that; my friend and I's first experience at the Lodge was dreadful and neither of us would ever go again but all I see is people raving about it!? Been to a few others that have been so so and some we enjoyed and one I liked very much but he didn't

Not how The Lodge fits here, as thats a club in Glouster, and this is a post about LIASONS which is in Rochdale, the two are not remotely connected.

Liasons and Partners have a long standing rivalary which has been going on for years. Each club has their fans and both clubs have had a little refurb, but we think Partners has probably won the race, plus you now also have the Number 3 Club in Chorely (Named so probably because its the 3rd choice in the area)

We personally havent been to Liasons for a good long while, but people on our team have been there as little as two weeks ago. The general consensus seems to be that Couples don't really like it, unless they like the company of pushy single men. Make of that what you will.

The place also feels old and outdated and needs money spent on it if its going to keep up.

Weve tried liasons twice now as we like to give all clubs a couple of goes before we say its not for us, as in any club it depends on who,s in, we found the people and hosts friendly however the club is in need of a major revamp its dirty, grotty just basically run down, and my no means can it be compared to partners two different style of clubs partners is head and shoulders above Liasons

agrees its run down dirty and ickkyyy... also what we found strange that on a couples day single guys can come in after a certain time...and they don't take "no" for "no"...is a def miss for us

The forums are free for anyone to post on even if one knows nothing about or has experience of what the OP has posted. I was responding to their comment:

"However with any club, it all depends who's there on the night you go"

Because they are right as my friend and I had found, so my comment was perfectly acceptable given why I was posting

Totally agree, and the fact they allow people to smoke in the main bar/seating area can be very displeasing and illegal methinks

We haven't been to liaisons for a few years - wentonce and walked out as it was dirty - there is also another club in swinton where all the staff smoke behind the bar - it isn't nice at all! Partners and No3 the best in this area. Z

I've been a few times with a couple of womwn - although not recently - and we found it seedy, not particualrly clean (especially the jacuzzi) and very clique-ish. Cupids for me all the time.
