Clubs Re-opening, a vote of Thanks

West Bromwich

First message from us is a personal one, but open to all clubs to add on their comments, as we thank our community for the support and encouragement through this period.

When we closed our doors in March, we didn't know how long this would be for, if we'd survive, what we could or couldn't do, etc. Plenty were saying we'd never open again, others saying not for years, some encouraging us to stick with it and make it work, and others really stepped up to the mark.

Some, gave up their normal lives and moved into the hotel. We became a bubble, a bubble who got down to all kinds of serious work within the club, transforming areas within, improving lots of features, changing the way we worked, and fixing thousands of defects. We got busy, and we hopefully have come through the other side.

We know the future is still very uncertain, we may face second, third, and forth waves etc. We may have this with us for years as we search for vaccines. We may find hospitality closed down for ever. We don't know, but we do know who our friends are and thank all those out there who fall into that bracket.

Many of you have asked about us daily, checking in on emails or phone, to ensure we're surviving, and keeping our heads up. Lots have asked if they can do more to help, we've thanked you but didn't wish to extend our bubble and risk anything more, but a massive thanks for offering.

So to our team here, Pammy_10, Jay-Lou-69, Jonah10, Corsagirl, BusterandJake, The Face of Boe, Kirsty and Pauline a massive THANKS. We know its been hard, some times impossible, lol, but we really do appreciate all you've done with us, and for us, for the club.

We'd also like to take this opportunity to thank other clubs. Whilst the Forums here have been full of doom and gloom, lots of the club owners have rallied behind each other to support each other. Its been good, and maybe the start of something better, together.

Can we also give a shout of encouragement out to the other clubs who can't open yet due to various constraints. Hang in there if you possibly can, and together we can all get through this and open back up for the scene.

And to those reading this, please, encourage and support your clubs. If you want then there in the future for you, they need your encouragement.

Cheers

We will ditto that!

I have been touched by the level of support and messages from the majority of our members, it really has helped.

Like you, we have been decorating away! now its steam cleaning away! We are getting ready to open and are nearly there. Luckily we have a big building and though we obviously can't use it all, we are going to see how it goes with restricted numbers.

The clubs have stuck together and its been great.

Goodluck Xstasia, you really are the gold standard and are leading the way here. Simon & I wish you all the very best, not just for Saturdays re-birth, but for the future as well.xxx

Well said guys. We live in hope that this ugly situation can be eradicated and we get back to the norm.

However, if not, then we have to continue to live and parking to one side all our personal views of whether it’s real, fake, conspiracy or otherwise.

Whether pubs, clubs, hairdressers and the likes be open or not open, we have to start somewhere and if the governments of their respected states are saying we can, then we have to make some strides at what each individual feels comfortable to move forward.

Government guidelines have for the most part, whether supporting or deviating from the medical science, have said here’s what to do and with grey areas, use your head and don’t take the piss.

We’ve been pragmatic over the last few weeks. Like everyone, desperate to get out and have a social life again.

We predict that there’s going to be a few hiccups and incidents out there on Saturday and and have decided to not go to any vanilla pubs in the first few weeks. However, for ourselves, we feel comfortable to make our first steps within the private sector and Xtasia has always been a safe platform to enjoy our Saturday nights.

We feel assured that we shouldn’t feel any different on the 4th and can see that there’s been a thought process into making this happen.

We look forward to joining you on Saturday, not just from a personal pleasure of entertainment, but for a real sense of value and putting some money in the till so team Xtasia can run their business again, pay staff wages and help drive our economy.

We hope that other clubs will be able to follow suit over the weeks and work towards getting their business open and moving again, all within a safe controlled manner.

We’ve seen the sad news with Cupids. And for a lifestyle we are all on here to enjoy, I’m sure you all echo the opinion that we want positive outcomes for all businesses that support this part of our lives.

Good luck guys and see you on Saturday xx

Funny enough, I was going to start a similar post about how clubs have stood together and helped each other out, which has been brilliant.

Special mention to you guys at Xtasia; the bouncing of ideas and views backwards and forwards is always very helpful!

Sue over at Club F, Paul at Club Play and Bruce at Cupids have all been great at staying in touch and sharing the stress.

We've also made new friends at Le Boudoir, Atlantis, Eureka and Asylum.

The solidarity has been very humbling and I really do hope it paves the way for us all looking out for each other during the uncertain future ahead of us.

Our members have been great and we've had tons of messages on here and on the Townhouse bat phone from people who miss us and it's kept us going when we were in despair about the future.

Our staff and hosts have been fabulous! We have all stayed in touch throughout the whole saga and some have helped us out when we've been doing renovations and improvements; we couldn't have done it without you.

Who knows what the future may bring, but for now, some of us have found a way to keep going. It's an ever changing landscape and we are all now in brand new territory with no end in sight and no idea when this scene will ever get back to the normal we once enjoyed.

For those who continue to support clubs, we thank you The positive vibes really do help at a time when our livelihoods and our businesses which we literally throw our heart and soul into, are threatened.

Much love from all of us at Townhouse Towers!!!

xxxxx

Wishing a very safe and secure future to all clubs, whether choosing to open from this weekend or not.

I hope you manage to provide a venue for like-minded people to enjoy each other's company with all legal aspects respected by all.

I very much look forward to attending when I can.

Paul and flirt.

Good luck for tomorrow I'm sure all will go smoothly.

It's been a pleasure getting everything to come together. There's a lot more on our list of things to do. (Paul I may take the list off you to stop you adding to it tho)

Lockdown meant big changes here at Eureka. Like Xtasia a group of us self isolated from closing so works could start. We are opening under new ownership and the works to upgrade the club have started. The team on site have worked tirelessly to maintain the 23 acres we have, a brand new decking area has gone in. A new bistro area built, couples room decorated and a new outdoor bar area has gone in... other works will be ongoing.

We know as a new team there’s lots to learn and we will listen to comments and make changes if viable.

I know we’ve been quiet on here but a big thank you to the other clubs for their support on the forums.

To those opening we wish you all the luck in the world and to those who can’t, we hope it won’t be too long xx

Some nice positive vibes on here, good luck to all of you in these uncertain times, there has been far too much doom and gloom for my liking, so much different from other sites we have profile's on and moderate.

Abroard things have been nuch the same, we have been able to grt back to almost normality sooner than expected, thats down to members supporting and assiting us.

We even have a new club in the area opening tomorrow!!

Love from Poland and the UK Simon and Miss T (Jacuzzi club)x

Good luck to all who can safely open this weekend and hopefully it’s the start of some form of new normality! I for 1 can’t wait to get back out again once it’s safe to do so even if it’s just for a social night and catch up with friends, I for 1 also take my hat off to you all for working tirelessly during some very very difficult times xx

I can fully understand what _tasia is saying about changing things.

I have helped renovate and refurbish the Gatehouse, there has been four of us doing this over 14 weeks.

We have thought of other clubs and how they are coping, maybe not been in total contact with other clubs.

However we are still surviving and opening on the 4th July for social events.

We have had lots of phone calls from t.girls who want a dressing service and we will be proving that.
