Would somebody be kind enough to answer me these two questions:
On a Friday or Saturday night (obviously before coronavirus etc)...how many people were required as a minimum in order for a club of average size to open its doors?
Also, if there was any club that did private parties, how many people were required to show up as a minimum and how much did the people who organised the private party had to pay to "rent" the venue? x |

"What about your club in particular? x"
Our club has a capacity of 145 and the minimum we would get on a weekend would be 60, but it was often much more. As for minimum numbers, it doesn't work like that. We have an alcohol licence, so we work more on how much we have to take to cover our overheads. You can have 25 people in who spend £400 and similarly, you can have 50 people who spend £350. So number of people in through the doors doesn't always equal a lucrative night.
As for private hires, that also varies depending on days, times and numbers and something that I negotiate privately with people who actually want to hire.
