from the womb and tryout to get back |
Personal i think its a little early to open the doors to clubs just yet I'd wait and see what happens a couple of weeks after pubs have opened this would see if there's another spike just my opinion |

I think it’s too early too, although shhh is licensed so could open as a bar legally. However Its up to the clubs local council too decided!
If i do go to a pub a will be going to a one that is well governed and won’t charge entry!
If a want a byo bottle of wine and a cheese toastie I can get that from my bubble..
Thanks for the update and well done on not following the crowd! |

"Club shhh will keep its doors closed for a while longer yet for your safety I'm just wondering wat peoples thought are on numerous other clubs opening on the 4th of july"
I think you do right. Give it another 3 weeks. If there isn't a spike they may not be one. I say this going off the illegal raves that happened all across the UK this weekend and last. |

Totally agree and think you are all doing the right thing by keeping the doors firmly closed. You're showing great responsibility in doing so. The swinging scene needs close contact, and that still can't be had, as per government say so. Anyone else opening I think is highly irresponsible and putting the public along with their workers at risk!
Well done Club Shhh, keep doing what you're doing xx |

We can't wait to get back to shh but not until its safe to do so. From the guidance given its going be when gym's, swimming pools and spa's open.
When it is safe to open id suggest advance guest list only to monitor numbers. |

If you think clubs are opening to soon or they should not open yet, then simply don't go to them. No need to knock them for opening it's a personal chose, some may need to open. |

Can an owner of a club not ask for people’s opinion??
I thought forums were for open discussion?? |

No clubs or any kind of indoor gatherings of strangers. No crowds. That will be my policy for the rest of the year.
Now that the government has openly abandoned scientific advice and has effectively decided to let the disease rip and people die, and it seems a lot of people are going along with that, we are facing dangerous times. |

Yeah so world governments are all going for herd immunity now. Meaning like him or not (and I don't) BJ was right all along and the media and the general public have cost us all opportunity to have a head start (economically) to everyone else. People still got infected during lockdown. People still died during lockdown.
This was never about saving lives it was about increasing capacity of health care systems. This winter will be horrendous. I don't even think social distancing will be in play. Also testing will be scaled back soon and it will go from everything being Covid. To nothing being Covid. I can't get over how compliant we are all being about this. |

I don't think we will have another lockdown. It doesn't help economically and we've proved now we can cope |

We don't go to club shh eirher but it good to see some club owners have peoples safety at heart and not trying to open under the guise of a hotel or bar. Respect where respect is due |

Fewer people died during lockdown, that’s the point. It’s not complicated. |

One thing having morals and ethics, complete other being able to put food on the table. If you look at history, after the Spanish flu there was a large period of decadence. People in the background as we speak trying to work out how to profit from this. |

We’re blocked by them too. Haven’t been for quite a while before lockdown but was hoping to make a return at some point when it is safe to do so. After all it is where we first met so there’s a bit of sentimentality there lol |

I am too, seem to have been since even before lockdown I think.
Not been since September (due to simply being busy on weekends) and was even asked to work There NYE Which I had to decline due to already having plans. Not long after that I noticed I was blocked......oh well |

The above is obviously Not related To the original question I know, but if any consolation I too agree in part that clubs shouldn’t open until full use available |

The clubs that are opening are for socials only, so it's no different to going into a normal pub, what is wrong with people meeting there friends or making new ones (for when it is safe to pkay) all businesses are struggling at the moment and need our help, stay safe and see things for what they are now, not what it was like before lock down |

To be fair, I'm not sure normal pubs opening is a good idea either! We have to wear a mask to pop in a shop and buy a pint of milk, but we can 'socialise' (in the loosest sense of the word!)for hours at a time; unmasked. Where is the sense in that? |

Not being Gym go-ers it does not affect us, but as indoor Gyms are opening today do all the attendees have to wear a masks while doing the exercises ?
Cos it seems to me that they do way more puffing and panting to spread CV_19 compared to a nice shagging session ! |

Then don’t go and don’t look if it’s upsets you that much. We are adults and we can decide on what to do to entertain ourselves and we don’t question the group who are scared to leave their house |

With mandatory masks in shops, local lockdowns and new enforcement powers for councils to close venues without a court order, we feel it is just too soon to reopen. The Goverment is trying to keep us apart and our business is bringing people together!
Stay safe
I`m sure we will be back as soon as it is safe for you and our staff! |

Is there any further news on when the club is reopening? We'd planned to go for the first time in 2 weeks but looks like we could be waiting much longer |

I think the clubs should open their doors immediately but only slightly. This would allow the members in who fall into the athletic and slim categories who have little to fear from catching the virus |
