"I wish admin would take down the post from Club SX about Willy Wanker's Chocolate Party. I am fed up seeing it on the front of the Forums every day for 5 weeks. "
Yep. It's worse than the Canada forum for having the same thread stuck there for weeks. |

Well obviously I don't know anything for certain, however I know that the club's owners are shrewd business people and I would be amazed if they couldn't facilitate reopening once they were given the go ahead to do so. |

Swingers clubs are not like any other hospitality business, they are designed to facilitate sexual liaisons, something that cannot happen with social distancing. Also, the majority of swingers clubs are not licenced so you have to take your own alcohol, and no-one would want to pay an entry fee just to socialise at a distance. It takes a vivid imagination to think that any of these venues could exist with no entry fee, and income from the sale of a few mixers alone. |

If you take your own alcohol into a Club they can still have a License. To serve alcohol but not to sell it. |

You stated they are not licensed which could be taken as they are being illegally run. But they could be legally run with a license to serve alcohol that members take in themselves. As you say, they make some money from selling soft drinks and mixers. |

As you know , it's all about business acumen and affordability rather than positivity - positivity is great but doesn't pay the bills unfortunately |

I'm saying that they are not licensed to sell alcohol, that is why you have to take your own. They don't need a liquor license to serve you your own alcohol. My point is that if they re-open with social distancing still in place, few would be willing to pay an entrance fee just for that, and the venue could not survive on the little profit gained from selling a few mixers. |

Oh I agree and as you know, I am being realistic and have several plans of action. However, there is enough negativity around here, so if someone wants to inject some optimism on the forums, then I'd say it is very welcome! lol |

Actually I need to correct you there...Licensee here!
If a venue does not have an alcohol licence and allows people to bring in their own booze, then they can legally store the booze but they cannot 'serve' it. What they can do is put the booze on the bar with a glass and the customer can serve themselves; the booze can then be stored back in the fridge. If the bar tender pours the alcohol in a glass for the customer, the premises needs an alcohol licence. Totally pedantic, but that's the law and clubs break it every night they are open lol
As for re-opening legally with social distancing etc... all venues are different and I know that owners are already looking at ways they can keep their head above water until such time they can fully open for swinging parties.

There’s a very strong case that an independent Northern pie shop might be reopening its doors on the 4th and Ann Summers have a sale on, is that optimistic enough? |

"I've heard so much about chams but never been, really must try it when lockdown ends! Are single ladies welcomed?"
It is super friendly place, you'll be made very welcome.
If you wanted someone to meet up with you after chatting a bit first to help you settle in I'm sure many would offer to help, myself included.
Hopefully see you there when it reopens. |
