Cams - why do they run in super slo-mo and look like they are being filmed on a potato!?

Is this a collective issue or am i solo'd out?

Same for me, I've an HD cam and it's clear as day and a decent FPS; I tried Fabs cam feature last night but ducked out pretty quickly, changed back to Skype and it's was solid, hi-def again. Had an enjoyable evening with a friend
