Lets get the owners to make a mobile app!!!
The website is in desperate need of a makeover, don’t get me wrong it works really well but times are changing.

Why? What would an app do that the mobile site doesn't already do?

It's been raised a fair few times. The current mobile site version is generally good IMO and there are tons of other general site improvements that have been requested over years that I would prioritise over time and money spent on the mobile specific version instead. Better searching options, user categorisation - such as sexual orientation permutations within couples and larger group options, amongst others - body physical attributes, that would get my attention and vote.
Making an app also potentially puts some control over the business into other organisations hands, which could impact on revenue or force resources to be pulled over to unplanned work, if an external entity required it.
Apps could also pull in a different, less desirable type of user, from the owners as well as current members perspectives. There are many people who join who have unrealistic expectations as it stands - we could potentially get a massive influx of people, especially men, who want something like insta-shag, rather than having assumptions that many of us want to get to know others over time, potentially opting to meet others in clubs only.
If fab was my business, I'd probably only create an alternative sister site app instead, if I thought that it would be manageable and profitable.
