i think there should be a bit on everyones profile so that people can put on if that person is a timewaster or if they didnt turn up ect. the same way we give positive feedback we should be allowed to give bad feedback also. as some people on here like myself only get maybe 1 night per month available to meet |

Okay I'll start by putting my bit on your profile to say that you didn't turn up to the meet we had arranged, I waited for 2 hours before going back home after an enormous expense in me getting there in the first place!
Of course that isn't true, but what would have stopped me putting it on your profile if the facility was there to do so? |

"have a better selection citeria- most timewasters follow the same trend and therefore wont have much decent feedback will they???"
That's not very fair to people like me whom people just don't seem to want to meet for any real discernable reason and there fore don't have any or very few posative feedback. |

Why not put a number system on it !! If you score them low then not a good meet , if they score high well worth it ! And by being numbers no details can be given !!
Just an idea
Thanks P |

I guess the only way to do this.... and in no way am I endorsing this is to have a system whereby if members arrange to meet then that allows them to rate each other.
So, If we arranged to meet, set a date and a time, you would click an icon on our profile, we would acknowledge it.
At a later date, after the meet, we could then rate each other. No one would see the 'score' given but would be up to 5 stars next to each profile and averages are taken over the last X amount of meets.
Think thats how another site works, although its far from perfect.

I'm afraid if ur able to use the forums ur able to find out about clubs/parties -Im not against anyone verified, but a good level of verifies whether some like it or not can show lots ur actively attending events....and as a single guy i actively attend events...which is why I wont really have any timewaster banner on my name.
some people are asking for a few verifications on profiles now, mainly becuase some people are getting ONE meet and then thinking that determines them decently verified,Maths skills might help some folk out i think in selection processes..but of course EVERYONES worth a chance in my eyes, just dont get the hopes up on mr flashmuscleschisledchinbigcock or MissHornyteenslimwetwantingU , when they have very little to prove they are even capable of being on the scene |

I understand your anger, god knows I do. The amount of times I've had no shows is annoying, and no amount of people banging on about 'selection criteria' or changing my meet pattern will stop time wasters from wasting time. However it's a really bad idea to start dissing people anywhere. Even a good verification needs to be approved by the person being verified so why would the admin ever sanction something like that?
The best way is to block and report. If the person does it enough times then action is taken against them (pretty sure one of my no shows got deleted), but even if not the best thing is to be the better person and ignore them.
I agree that it feels bloody awful to be the person stood up, especially when our time is short, but if we start being able to name and shame then this site will go to hell in a hand basket in no time flat. Block, report, delete, breathe deep, move on. Good luck! |

...and what if like us we might hot block because of something we read on a forum puts us off? eg bareback or they like to keep photos.. it's not that we think they're a bad person not just for us. So in reality banning people because of blocks wouldn't work. |

Its difficult isnt it? I dont want to get stood up, but i dont think neg veris would work cos of the victimisation/bullying thing... just block report and mail me next time you have a night free ? |

Me and my girlfriend usually look at peoples verifications and how long they have been on this site for.
If they have been on for ages and haven't had any verifications then we never bother with them.
Same thing for verifications if they have loads that says verified by webcam or they have hidden their verifications then we never bother with them either.
The genuine people will have a few verifications on show by meeting in person or loads if they are total horn dogs. |

Difficulty is how do you define timewaster.
I had a 1st meet (for coffee in a cafe) arranged for a saturday about 3 weeks in advance. Sods law - on monday of said week, boss said I'd to work that saturday which meant meet was off.
I did the right thing and texted the lady immediately - well you'd think I had dropped a a bombshell.
Don't get me wrong - I know how the lady felt (been there myself too many times)but I had given as much notice as possible.
FWIW I think it is difficult to identify what is timewasting as opposed to genuine call-off when its the "1st meet".
Gotta say you can have the most rigorous R&S (recruitment & selection) vetting in the world - timewasters will always slip through.
Its like real life - if there is a system in place, someone will work out how to use and abuse it.
My solution - personally I would take the timewasters outside, hang them by the scrotum and shoot them - but is that a tad Clarksonion? |
