North East room

Hi
We've noticed that the northern room is full of people from Manchester and there abouts which isn't a bad thing but here in the north east we don't have a room and don't class Manchester as near us. We are proud to be from the north east and don't class ourselves as what others would class northern if that makes sense. I hope this doesn't offend anyone as that's not what it's about. I just think it would be good to have a room for us lot up here.

Totally agree with you.Northeast is Teesside,Tyne and Wear also Co Durham etc the list goes on. But it's not Leeds or Manchester no offence but it isn't to us poolies or other northerners.A Northeast room with true northeast humour and topics would be great.  |

Just a thought folks but who'd like a kik group chat ?
Could be great that when in the mood always some body around who could send pics & vids and chat, I'm not currently in a kik group but like the idea |

the thing that killed the big national socials were the advent of local chatrooms.... because they because such an "in bubble" the people from other areas never felt as welcomed
so where you all think it would be a positive step... i know it is actually negative
people from sclotland would stay in scotland, people from yorkshire would stay in yorkshire....
what you are actually advocating for is insularity.... |

Yeah hence why Hadrian built the wall ... but should have never stopped at Wallsend  should have just built it around the region ... North Yorkshire will do ....
like others have said before ... we get our own banter and all other folk talk funny .... struggle to understand them if you can have a political room on a sex site ... then I'm sure a north east chat room could easily happen. ... but get where your coming from but isn't it already clicky in the forms anyways ... |

What's worse is people saying Stockton-on-Tees is it near Middlesbrough no Middlesbrough is near Stockton-on-Tees.
Middlesbrough has only been called Middlesbrough for a hundred something years.
Stockton-on-Tees has the widest hight Street in England,The inventor of the match and Ton comes from viking times.
Also Middlesbrough was originally called port Darlington.
But yes the North East folk need a thread.
