I'm new to the site and scene. If there was a Northern Ireland section it would make it easier for newbies to understand the do's and donts of the site and make meeting people easier |

I use the Ireland room regularly and really don't see why a separate Northern Ireland room is necessary - its quite easy to chat to people from both the north and south.... |

As a single guy who genuinely wants to meet new people we tend to get ignored because of the things we ask. I understand that there is a lot of fakes/pic hunters and rude people on here but we tend to get tarred with the same brush when that shouldn't be the case |

"Wouldnt be enough people for a northern ireland chatroom. And there is the abilty to search people in northern ireland"
I don't think we're talking about a chat room per say. Chat rooms aren't for everyone & it's generally a small amount of people who contribute .
But , a N Ireland forum would be a good idea..... Especially for parties , M&Gs & social events ... |

Lol, no border between Scotland and England or England with Wales but they have separate rooms, it would make it easier to chat and meet people who is north of this imaginary border and a bit closer to each other no many willing to travel the length of the country lol |

See yr point. We often think " they look great" and see they are in Cork. But as we are in Donegal we would need to look in 2 rooms - Sligo, Mayo, Derry, Tyrone. If they are hot, it's all the same to us |

Same has been requested for searches over the years to no avail yet. If one is near Belfast and search in local say 40 miles...then lots of people in liverpool or Manx etc appear which isn't helpful at all while one needs to change countries to view those nearer in RoI. |

West Wales and Cardiff |
Guys
I think a part of the problem may be that there was a really big lobby for a room in another part of the UK a few years back.
There was a big gang of people who posted about it for months.
They kept going on about how badly it was needed and how it would be busy. They were very persistent.
The room is really dead most of the time .
I'm not saying for a second a NI room isn't justified and it would be the same. I can see that County Cork to the Giant's Causeway is a really long way!
I just suspect that admin, who have a hell of a lot of stuff to deal with and limited space, reflect on previous experiences with setting up rooms.
Good luck though |

Also, it's still just one request in a long list - Interracial, couples only, BBW admirers, fetish, knitting swingers (ok I made that one up, but there are loads more).
Geography would suggest a better case than most, but it's still one of many and it probably gets to the point where admin kinda roll their eyes and switch off. |

NI is such a small place with such a small population that the number of NI only users on here would I suspect make it hard to justify.
If there was an NI only service how many on fab would just switch between the NI and Ireland rooms to make sure they don't miss the fun?

This. NI and RoI should be lumped in together for fab purposes. |

Your right, you shouldn't. However, your the first person to post in this thread for six months.
So do you really think a NI room would be well supported? Or will it just be the same people jumping between two Irish rooms, which innevitably will lead to only one of the two being supported.

I'd say a NI room would be well supported hopefully not through bigotry but through the need to connect more with locals which i feel is the point of any of these type if rooms.
But bigotry does seem to emerge of here alot both north and south. We just need to keep putting it back in the box when it emerges and let fab be what it's for....spreading love |
