hi

since the update to the html cam viewer for mobile; even when viewing the chat on my desktop I can't launch my cam.

the "HTML5 cams (v002)

New: You can now view cams without Flash installed. Just tap/click the cam icon next to username. You still need Flash to broadcast your own cam.

There's no sound yet.

We're working next on touch and mobile friendly chat."

is always shown.

what am I doing wrong?

I think you'll only see that message if you don't have Flash properly installed.

As far as I know, you can't broadcast your cam using HTML5, only view others.

Think it possibly is a Chrome problem, I have reinstalled Flash, set it up in the Advanced settings on Chrome, and the message still appears.

Open window.

Grasp cam in an underhand grip.

Rotate shoulder back.

With a "spear chuck" motion, throw cam out of window.

Camera launched.

No need to thank me.

Sorted, top left hand corner of edge is an icon that looks like a jigsaw piece. Click on this and it gives you an option to continue using flash.

This happens to me too, every time I want to use the cameras it takes several goes to get the camera to work. Is there any chance this will get fixed, or even of a reply to our plight?
