Would it be possible to define UK regions to being a bit more specific by changing it from regions to counties IE, from changing the "south East" to "Kent, Surrey, London etc as regions cover such a vast area
Thanks |

I personally think it is a good idea you can search by post code, for profiles but when you go to the meets section it would be nice to search that by county rather than area

Why would that be. You choose what room you go in." At the minute there's a South East chatroom. If, as the OP suggests, this is broken down into separate rooms for Kent, Surrey, etc., then the users will have to choose between which room to enter, surely that will reduce the number of users in each chatroom? |

"Please let it happen as search for meets in the east Midlands and someone can be 200 miles away"
primarily becasue the fab regions don't seem to coincide with the regions people are used to - the 'east midlands' accordingto Fab contains the east midlands, east of england and a chunk of Yorkshire ... |

"But who says you have to do it for the chat rooms" The OP's post is in the "Chat room feedback/discussion" forum!
As far as the regions for meets, etc., are concerned, I'm sure that Admin have said that they're testing out a postcode proximity search in the London area, and that they intend to roll it out, when any bugs have been ironed out! |

Please make it happen or at the very least recognise East Anglia as a region "
This, if you live in Norfolk its a complete joke. The "East Midlands" covers such a huge area, Great Yarmouth to Derby I mean wtf is that about? I have no idea why this hasn't been sorted before is glaringly obvious its awful as it is. |

We live in just outside Warwick and find the current search takes us 60 miles plus north but not 5 miles south down the road?
If we change areas we have no luck as the meets come up hours away.
Is the technology available to do an accurate radius search from our postcode? It would be good if so ? |

"Brilliant idea "
The London room is always so dead. It would be great if it was easier to find people closer.
Often feel I should move up north as the northern ladies are a lot more open to a conversation. |

except when it comes up as east midlands
The regions either need to follow the Local government regions ( as most uK people know those and are aware of the region boundaries) or be replaced with a postcode and + distance search - as the east midlands gives you results for Essex but not Leeds or Hull which is a pain if you are in Lincs / North Notts / Derbyshire |

You can click on the cam or sex icon to move the people in the chat room to the top.
So it would be good if you could arrange people by distance as well in the chat rooms. |

Or another idea could be i seen on another site i used (can't remember which one) when you looked at someones profile it would tell you roughly how far away you actually were from them by looking at your postcodes. |

Isn't that what the site does already if you have the right information and a site supporter it's what I quote at people when I consider them to far away. |

excilent the famous Norwich folk of the east midlands will be able to search for People in east-Anglia.
and it's definitive too unless you live in daggers, Stratford or Romford the debate will continue which county region they are from. |

"Would it be possible to define UK regions to being a bit more specific by changing it from regions to counties IE, from changing the "south East" to "Kent, Surrey, London etc as regions cover such a vast area

I think this is definitely a good idea
But looking at it from my perspective
Imagine a region with an average of 30-40 fans in a peak time of the day, this means 30-40 devided by the counties in those regions(definitely not equal numbers) will mean maybe between 5-10 people in each chat rooms, maybe less.
I'm a typical chat room of 20 people only 4-7 people chats, others just stay looking for the lady touching herself or that couple having sex.
With a group of 5-10, 1-2 or no one chats, then it stops to be a chat room, cos it had lost its purpose.
Not saying it's not a good idea. But it won't be a good idea in all regions |

but from a non-chatroom perspective it makes sence.

Totally agree the meets and events section is almost unusable due to its vast areas. I live in Warwickshire and West Midlands seems to start around Worcester and the East Midlands around Northampton then no further south but up above Manchester.
County areas would be much better.
