One Northern area works well for me. I live in Cumbria but it is very quiet here so often head south down the m6 to Manchester, chorley, Blackpool etc. I'm actually from the North East, so spend some time over there too. |

But people from all areas use all rooms. We regularly get Midlands, London and Ireland chatters in Northern Room. You can't restrict chatters to their 'home' room. |
