Although Skype is relatively simple to use and easy to install it has its security issues. I suggest people use another video conferencing program such as Google chat which is encrypts the data. It does not need an installer and it works directly from any web browser.
You can access Google chat from your Gmail account, keep swinging and personal life separate and use another Gmail account for contacts off here.
