Google chromebook - cam not working

Running chrome on a chromebook (obviously!) and the webcam is just showing as a white screen, for us and for others but we are able to watch everyone else's cams ok

Anyone else have this issue? Or know a solution?

when you click start cam, flash opens click on cam then in big window click pic of cam then close then allow and on drop down at top of page allow and bingo you should be up and running

It strangely shows as already started, when you click hid cam it comes up hidden. Checked all settings so everything is allowed, latest flash installed too even though the chat doesn't run on flash

yup latest version installed here too and the fuuny thing is the cam works fine on anything else , its just fab it doesnt work for

If I remember correctly, when this worked, it didn't need to be a microphone, even plugging headphones into the microphone socked worked!
