Thanks for the feedback
It won't be as fast as flash streaming.
But we are looking at ways of making it smoother than the prototype
To the testers: Let us know what devices you're using when you give us the feedback.

Thanks for the initial feedback folks, we'd welcome more from the other testers too.
We're planning on doing another update later this week which might improve cam smoothness a touch.

Platform: iPad2 32GB
Version: 7.0.3
Background apps running: Settings, Safari (for Fab), Facebook, Dots (game), MindGenius, Telegraph,Ancestry
Memory free: 21.5GB
Membership: Gold
Connection: Home Wifi
Video: slow and choppy
Audio: not tested
Observations: Moving active cam to docked cam area does work - but only two docked cams are visible in the video area. Closing down a cam 'reveals' a 'hidden' cam. |

Ipad
Some cams I was not able to view at all, just black but according to others they could see them. The ones I could see were mainly ok except for one which was choppy.
Still better than puffin though |

"Was the cam you were closing in the main view or the docked bit?
Admin x" I'm seeing the same thing on Nexus 7.
I can see 3 cams at a time 2 Docked and 1 Active. I can dock a 3rd, but can't see it. When I close 1 of the visible docked cams, the 3rd becomes (the 2nd and becomes) visible. This happens in landscape and portrait mode.
On wireless network, the picture quality seems fine, but updates seem to be only once or twice a second, giving jumpy motion. |

Using a sony experia phone and a mid tablet,
On the phone the cams were abit grainy but viewable, a fairly large gap from chat window to cam window, im using wifi from eircom in ireland and cams froze/stopped very little,
All in all looks good just needs to be fine tuned, will try again later on tab |

Ok we see this issue (3rd docked cam)
Think this is going to be down to a function of screen space on tablet type interfaces. Not 100% sure what the solution is except not to add more cams to the dock than you can see. If we made them small enough to 3 would dock the size would be super small.
Tricky.
Any views on this?
(next update will hopefully have smoother updates)

i think 2 cams on mobile device is cool as long as its explained when people upgrade
same as the quality as long as people are told that the cams are best viewed on a pc or laptop
the old saying goes its better than nothing
