When you hit the block button in chat, your cam appears frozen to them, and they just see a still picture. For the block button to prevent this, you need to leave chat and come back in.
Or, when you plan to block someone, hold your hand over the cam lens, hit the block button, then take your hand away from the cam lens. That way, they see a still picture of your hand, and it saves you the inconvenience of leaving chat and re-entering  |
