When activating cams you are warned that you may be recorded as they are in a public domain.
I cannot see anyway the site can stop people doing it however wrong it is.
If you report them what proof could you give? |

"Just wondering what the rules in chat were about people taking pictures of the cameras on iPads etc.
Ruby "
This isn't mentioned in site rules.
People could be recording or screen
capturing with more subtle means, it's just part of being on cam.

Guess its a shame some people feel the need!!
Suspect the block button is both the best solution - and gonna get busier when people realise its happening!!
It's hard to know if people are doing it subtly - but to me - blatantly holding your phone/iPad up and taking snaps is seriously out of order!
Out of interest - would commenting on seeing someone do such a thing in a chat room to others be seen as naming and shaming? |

If people see this they should tell everyone in the chat room so they can block them from doing it to anyone else. |

If people were doing it on an iPad you wouldn't notice it.
1) because they can't broadcast a cam, so you couldn't see them.
2) they would just screen capture. Not hold it up and take a pic lol |

I think the lesson is that if you are prepared to show your face/body whatever on the internet either by photo or camera then expect it to be floating about in the ether for a long long time. Once theyre out there thats it- no going back. |

"Whats this puffin site?"
Apparently it's a different browser, and unlike Windows Explorer, Google Chrome etc, it doesn't use Flash. It can therefore be used on Macs/smart phones etc to view the cams. |

Some very good friends of ours who were once upon a time Prolific Web Cammers, had a couple of very, shall we say unique and rather untoward Cam Sessions with a couple , who they had befriended via a swingers site.
Confidence was built up and the sessions became increasingly Different in a Perverted sort of way , everyone enjoyed , so they told us,
However this turned very quickly into Shock Horror and a Nightmare, when one of her work colleagues, a Male said Awesome Video of you guys ,although Im not so sure I would have uploaded it with your faces exposed,
By the time she picked herself up after hearing that it had been posted on three porn tube sites, after it had been "screen recorded" she was gobsmacked and in total dis belief
They attempted to have them removed, unfortunately they failed , and now both seriously regret their camming escapades,
the video posts are still there in the public domain probably multiplied in dozens of sites shamefully uploaded by the persons who claimed ownership of the video
be aware take care |

Anything streamed to a device will leave a file that can be saved by someone. I'm guessing even if you could add digital rights management, or something similar, that people could overcome the protection, as they do with movies etc. |

There are also program's which I won't name... I used to use a program to film (this is sad but).... Doing quests on games LOL! But it works for webcams too. I haven't done it on fab but have done it with previous partners and Louise obviously they knew etc
But if your going to get naked on camera on the Internet you shouldn't be surprised if you find yourself on xhamster hehe |
