I've logged into the chat rooms a couple of times but it seems really hard to keep track of what is going on and with whom.
How do others learn how to interact in a chat room, or am I just old fashioned?! |

Basically, just stick at it.
It can be tricky to follow some of the conversations.
Think of chatrooms like a pub, often there are several chats going on at the same time, you can't expect to contribute to all of them.
Just join in, get to know people, let them get to know you ... the rest follows then
Good luck ![](/icons/thumb_up.png) |

I think it depends what you want to use the room for tbh
I find in many rooms specifically regional people know each other, so it’s like listening to strangers talk. Difficult to join a conversation. Directing rooms are often people telling others what to do or watching people play
Try general or one of the smaller ones. Join, say hi, and take it from there. Usually one or two people will chat back |
