Hi, what would be a great addition to the chat rooms would be if you could invite certain people into a private room, this would allow people to chat and video call with a greater degree of privacy, without having to move to a different app or give personal details out.
What do people think? |

waste of time with cams the size of postage stamps. much rather skype full screen. They haven't improved in 10 years. |

"All rooms and cams need to be monitored at some point by mods, private cams would require mods to be able to see them so they wouldn't be private "
It would all be fine, but there will be incidents where abuse comes into it and complaints raised.
As it would not be possible to manage, that is where the idea falls flat.
The system that is in place is for peoples protection. |

Would love private rooms it would keep out the vile nasty people who like to upset people by saying nasty things in room with multiple profiles that the mods know about but can't do nothing about because they just change profile an fab knows about but as they getting money so would love private rooms |

Yes absolutely, I can't believe this isn't a thing on fab , and if you do give out certain information to others not being blocked for it , as long as its been asked for and it's not derogatory. |

It's not actually that difficult to set up, if you have been in a room for a while it's easy enough to see who is viewing your cam, you can quickly meet the other person you want to cam with in an empty room, put them on view, then leave the room again immediately. Then of course you can just PM each other (assuming one of the parties has the PM option activated).
It would of course be easier to have a direct function, but it isn't impossible the way it is now.

Click the cam button on the top right hand side of the room, if people are watching it'll show with an icon |

This is a great idea instead of one big busy nosey room with lots of spectators lol FAB is a little behind the times I agree |

The current rooms would be empty. The clichés would be Rampant and the site would die within weeks.
Saw it on another site, killed the site.
The beauty of this site is that there is no privacy or very little so to speak.

What cliques (I'm assuming that's what you meant). When we go out we don't necessarily know everyone. It doesn't mean it's a clique.
There's no duty that everyone must know and talk to you. Just because you don't want privacy others may do; what's wrong with having a choice? Public chat and private chat. |
