iPad and pm's in chat

How do you move a pm box so you can still see the chat room and the pm box. I've tried everything but the pm box hides the chat room.

The only way is to make the chat box smaller and put any PM's down one side of it.

Thats the prob I cant even move it its a nightmare you cant minimise it...or can you lol ......either way it aint working
