East Anglia / Norfolk Chat Room

Any chance you could throw in an additional chat room to cover this area?

We are under the the Midlands umbrella on the search engine with our postcode your only clue to this area. Its not like we're close to the blooming midlands!

So with the chat room are we in with the Midlands again or are we in the South East chat room?

Be nice to have our own area so we can all have some online fun

as much as we love lincolnshire skegness ,ingoldmels and woodside animal park they ain't in east anglia . people ask for east anglia region and chat as it is a very large area . to include areas outside defeats the object of the exersise

Given that Norfolk is the biggest county in England, second only to Yorkshire, we are not asking for much really.

Putting Norfolk and Sufolk together, there is still a liklyhood that the person you are speaking to is 100 miles away!

I get that, but what I don't understand is why it seems such a big deal to do?, we even have foreign forums on here but nothing for a region that needs it

Quite agree with your reasoning ... We are nowhere near the Midlands being at least 2 hours away.

We are in the outback of the UK unfortunately not being on a through route to somewhere else, so most folk look for reasonably local friends to make contact with. This can be done if you are in the Midlands ... not quite local when paired with folk from Leeds!!

Think it would be a major show of appreciation for the developers of fab to recognise us and to put this right.

Totally agree. While we are on the subject... why are we East Midlands anyway...in the searches etc (yes I know we have the new and bvery fab search). Suffolk is NOT in the East Midlands, and neither is Hull. In fact I am not sure that there is any such region at all. We are East Anglia, which to my knowledge is Norfolk, Suffolk, Essex and Cambs. Rant over lol Love you all lol

The present area is to big and distances are large in the order of 130 to 180 miles in some cases.That means up to an 8hr return trip. It would be appreciated if East Anglia got is own listing in the chats at least and as a demographic area as well.

I really think we need an east anglia room. Theres aload of us in norfolk and suffolk and the Midlands room covers such a vast area.

thats up to 4 hrs away from one end to the other.

And a shame we can open our own rooms but thats just a bit greedy.
