Seems to us there is a lot of un verified couples on here surly after the first 7 days you would be picture verified by Fabs admins but after 3/6/12 months and nothing 
Does any one think there should be a 30 day time limit as a couple weather it’s MM MF FF
To get there verification in if not account get shut down , surely this would also stop fakes and a lot of tome wasters ? Thought , |

Photo veri's could easily be got around by photoshop.
The site provides ways of stopping non verified profiles from contacting you.
Use the filters provided to stop them.
Other than that. You have the best tool of all. Common sense.  |

I new this but personally for couple to prevent the fakes and frauds you should make it compulsory would stop it of hassle and personally will do better for the site just my option  |

No
It's up to the couple or individual whether they feel the need to get verified or not
Of course you are not obliged to make contact or respond to anyone that isn't verified

Great idea but the site doesn't care as long as people are willing to pay for site sponsorship. We had to PV before we could upload pics as we have been here before.
We don't mind having to photo verify but feel that it should be compulsory for all not just some. |

We didn’t think of it before lockdown, have only just seen each other in the last couple of weeks and oddly taking a verification photo wasn’t top of the list of things to do! And we don’t live together and don’t always get to see each other within 30 days as depends on shifts and child care arrangements.
Totally get where you are coming from, but it isn’t always quite that easy. X |

Its purely a numbers game! There has to be a "critical mass" where enough couples are registered to entice legitimate couples to want to join. If there's enough legitimate couples then single guys will be enthused to create couples profiles in an attempt to lure couples in to sending pics. This creates a circle of self-sustaining numbers bringing in revenue.
If a verification hurdle was created then numbers would drop considerable and the "critical mass" would cease to exist. Why would Turkeys vote for Christmas? |

When the site gives you all the tools you need to avoid xyz, why don't people use them, instead of wanting the site to impose their own rules?

Thing is even those with multiple veri cannot be trusted unless they are recent & from well verified or known people themselves.
So no matter what the site do they probably wouldn't improve matters. It's now got to the stage for us that's it's such a pain in the bum to trawl through peoples veris just to see who they are by & whether they have decent veris in turn etc. that we don't bother most of the time anymore.
We still support the site though, not because its good but because its better than the alternatives.
Use the tools given & common sense, doesn't mean you won't get caught, but don't friend initially, send no pics, no dirty talk etc. & you are unlikely to get landed.

It's only one filter at the moment. Enough to have pv or meet/cam tick and you can message. So if I don't want messages from profiles that have no pv I still get messages if they are meet/cam verified without pv. |

It's only one filter at the moment. Enough to have pv or meet/cam tick and you can message. So if I don't want messages from profiles that have no pv I still get messages if they are meet/cam verified without pv."

We took a while to verify as don't want our faces or pics forced to be uploaded to verify things, there are other ways than giving a website facepics holding pieces of paper god knows what will ever happen to them in the future!! |

Yep, as you say: OR full body photos. You can crop the heads out or obscure faces if you're using full body option.
That's how I've PVed on this profile and with hubby on the couple's one. No faces were displayed. |

My bad, just been the every profile we've ever had has required it.
Is it a fab secret why it's not mandatory or how profiles are selected? Although not perfect surely some sort of pv is better than none? |

As a very private couple that won't give out face pics at the drop of a hat. Aren't interested in webcams and only (although looking to play in UK ) play in clubs abroad. Have had alot of the more serious swingers think we are fake (one just today). The few verified couples / males we have engaged with and planned to meet before lockdown have pulled out last minute...and not willing to meet the obvious cheating husbands that constantly message. And not willing to meet with people just to get verified...The reality of meeting folks on here verified or not that have similar / the same outlook on swinging and or safe sex that are willing to meet is rare. |

From our point of view, we too want to actually meet, have little/no interest in webcam antics or meeting the cheating masses, so imagine going through all you usually have to go through arranging a meet but then actually having someone turn up. By then it's taken us to either get child care sorted for an evening, at our expense, or arrange a mid week day off, at our expense, only to find that there's no physical attraction. This could have been negated before that stage by sharing a face pic. We also frequently find that finding a couple where there is equal levels of attraction for our opposites and vice versa that would allow full swap to happen is very difficult as neither of us is prepared to 'take one for the team'. This too can be found early be sharing a face pic.
I understand privacy concerns but I don't see the problem with giving face pics as long as they are not an x-rated image in and of themselves. Digital photo manipulation is so easy these days any of photo taken from the internet could be made look like it's from here and in a lot of cases any old photo from the internet actual ends up in here in any case.
Verification is not the only tool we use but it makes up part of a bigger picture for us. Actually knowing that admin or another user can confirm that, at least one stage, there was actually a couple behind a couples profile we find reassuring.

Few of these threads... Sounds like some would like the site to hand deliver the perfect meet.
For what you pay I think what you get is fairly decent value. Yes it could be better but possibly so could people's effort when looking.
Use filters, use sense and go with your gut instinct. |

Personally we don't have any issues with getting PV and let's be honest it takes only a couple of minutes and says to all on fab that you don't have any issues with providing proof.
We block all unverified profiles from messaging and if there was such an option would also block unverified profiles from viewing us also. We would love to see a safer, easier and more confortable environment for all here and sadly word of mouth from friends who have been swingers for year or regulars at clubs locally all seem to be expressing their "it's a waste of time now and is full of too meny of the wrong sorts of people we network off there if we can". fab has been the staple site for many years now and is practically a household name thanks to the UK media.
More ristrictions for unverified profiles might give better experience or maybe more will leave for greener pastures time will tell?  |
