I know this forum is basically dead but hey, worth a shot.
Moving to Toronto from Ireland next week, staying for at least a year. Just looking for some recommendations from locals, or even just those who've visited. Some essential things to do, eat, drink, see, avoid, that kind of thing.
And if you friendly people have any fab-related suggestions, all the better |

Toronto is a great city...I visit at least a couple of times a year.
My faves are The Rex, a little jazz and blues club, opposite the condom shack....just wander in off the street.
In Dundas square there's the Hard Rock Cafe...and if you are lucky, Stella behind the bar will be singing along to the tunes..she is gorgeous..say hi from me too.

"What is it like for CDs or TVs in Toronto, is the places that are a must to visit"
Not honestly sure from my end, but can tell you that there certainly is a very vibrant LGBTQ community in Toronto, so you should have no trouble finding what you are looking for.

Head for Church Street....plenty of gay and trans bars and clubs.
Canadians are very tolerant of gay and trans people. |

Give over, I have one of the darkest dryest humours ever and sarcasm is a dying art form here. Lived in Canada for nearly a year and regularly got belly laughs. |
