Can anyone recommend a campsite in the Garstang area suitable for a tourer?

Thanks for the suggestion.

I can't find a website, have you stayed there?

Hi

We’ve stayed at Greaves Farm caravan park. Lovely site, just on the banks of the canal and fairly accessible. There is also Ashton Hall which is next to a big garden centre. We’ve stayed there too, lovely brand new shower block and a nice walk to Glasson Dock along the old railway for a pub visit.

Hope you get fixed up.

S&S x

Lovely area. Hopefully the pub is open at glasson dock last time we were there the one that was open was closed if that makes sense and the other is permanently shut. There is also a campsite there btw

Good to know.

Nearly forgot about Greaves Farm. That’s a nice site by the canal with some great walks.

Didn’t know about those sites at Glasson dock area . I do know that the pub that is closed is closed and the one that is open isn’t always open . The stalk about ten mins walk away used to be open till it burnt down about a month ago (January) But not all bad news just as you come into Glasson the is a static caravan park on your left which has a bar and spa which is open to the public .. hope this helps Simon and sue xxxx
