Any couples single ladies enjoy wild camping? Remote mountain locations? The location views and remoteness is stunning. Wild swimming to freshen up. Never seen or experienced any fun in the countless times I have been out all over UK. Is it just me who can see the potential for memorable evenings? |

"Yes we love the freedom of being out in the wilds " There is something special about having a place to yourself. Away from the madding crowds. Getting out the pub/club now and again is good for the soul. Especially when the views are amazing and if the company is just as good. Well win win.

Living on the edge of Snowdonia I try to do an overnight wild camp in the mountains at least once a month. Last week was up in Cwm Lloer in the Carneddau. Hoping to get out in this new snow soon...it's beautiful!
Anyone wanting company always welcome too. |

I'm loving these camping threads.
I'm really getting into the wild camping thing, it great fun and especially as I'm told my small white panel van won't be welcome on all official camp sites.
Can anyone recommend any good websites or social media for finding good wild camping stop overs ?
Or is it like dogging in the old days and done by word of mouth ?
Thanks |

We use park4night which you can download for free. We also subscribe to wild camping for campervans which we have never managed to make work yet, although it seems to be very good at telling us where we are. Never where we can park though.

We have been wild camping in the past, Wales has some amazing areas to stay in. Sadly our van is currently off road as it needs some maintenance - looking forward to getting out in it again soon though! |
