We’re members have visited a few of there sites over the last three years although have to admit I think there getting rather pricey use there services to book ferry crossings at reasonable discounts and also get a nice discount on insurance with them too. |

I am a member but not sure why. Minimum 2 days booking not for me. Insurance not cheap. Ferry booking web site a pain and I book my own ferry now as Newhaven Dieppe gives 20% discount for over 60 if you phone yourself. Does not solve problem of being lonely on your own! |

The friendly clubs temporary holiday sites are our only use really. We spend the summer weekends at studland when the sun's out. So the cheap Temp sites around Wareham, Corfe and Swanage enable you to turn up early sat morning and stay till late Sunday evening as you only pay per night slept. Beats getting turned off a Site at the usual 10am or midday if lucky on sun morning. And all for a tenner or so usually.basic facilities but all you need and can Park where you like in big fields instead of close together in tight formation like most sites want you to. If the sun shows we're off to the dunes if it's cloudy then the local pubs beckon in the day as well as night. Their app lists every Site Thru out the year and tells of facilities etc. |

"Would anyone consider at the next renewal of membership changing to the caravan and motorhome club "
No, we were in both but left the Caravan Club (now Caravan and Motorhome Club) as we are pretty self-sufficient in our motorhome so don't need site facilities. We mainly use the CL / CS sites or the CCC THS or rally sites. The C & Mh Club CLs all seemed to install electricity points which we don't need and then doubled the fees to pay for them.
Also on the rare occasions we used the main sites we found that they were set up for caravans so parking as directed to the pegs meant the pitch was wasted and we were stepping out of the van onto the grass. |

Caravan and motorhome club here. Access to the CL sites makes it worth it, the main sites are a bit officious though we'll maintained and you can book way in advance with no deposit and then cancel a few days before with no penalty which can be handy. |

"With the members on here they should have a swingers section lol." Well they have a photographic and mountain activity section plus a few other niche sections, a swingers section with weekend meets would be a right eyeopener. |

"Good caravan, Motorhome and camping park at Ripley North Yorkshire." There is indeed although it is not a ccc site we visit regularly. Although we do prefer the one down the road at Bilton where you can take all your clothes off and no one bats a eyelid

Hi all, hope you don't mind us enquiring on here as we're looking for an adult only camping site no more than a two hour drive from Spalding area. Somewhere with good reviews, picturesque etc that other like minded fabbers may go.
Thanks |

I have just joined up for the first time to see what it’s about, I travel a bit on my own with my caravan and also camp in some places if I am not roughing it. Love the outdoor life and travelling the UK |
