Look at a decent map of the area you are interested in .you can pick some nice pitches fairly close together ,then on the day choose one that suits you .

glen Rosa is a good one ,but Arran has lots of hidden away places .It just depends on what you are you are looking for and if you want an organized site or prefer wild camping
