Any members know any good sites at the lakes, possibly windermere area. Going at the end of June. Any one else going?

There are 2 camping and caravan club sites close. One right next to Windermere the other just outside Staveley. We stayed at the latter last month it was very nice but not cheap

There is a website/app search for sites. Give that a try

Dockray National Trust site is right on the shore of Windermere, on the Hawkshead side of the lake. Head to Ambleside then head towards Hawkshead.

Nice quiet site, pizza tent, shop, loos, showers etc.

Low Wray campsite in Ambleside we go a few times a year. Right on the lake and it’s a national trust. If you get a pitch in the woods it’s very private
