Not a lot mentioned about camping around Barmouth on this forum yet, well Summer is coming and that's where we are planning to go for a long break soon, 2+ weeks being able to be naked as and when we want.
Always someone there to chat to and some even swing, what could be better.  |

We did Barmouth last week had one day on beach second day was overcast and windy and home on Friday this week just got back from Anglesey and Rhyl but love Barmouth and will be back soon hopefully meet someone off fab  |

I've got 2 weeks off in August and could use somewhere cheap to go and I love camping so this might be just the thing!
If anyone can post camp site names or message me with good ones that would be much appreciated..google only tells me so much! |

There’s only one camp site near Barmouth with a naturist part to the camp site and that’s Benar beach . |

That's Dennis's field. He allows naturist campers to set up along the far side away from the entrance, along the fence. Discreet only because the rest of the field is clothed. |

We use Dens field all the time, he allows naturists but you must stay behind your wind breaks, whereas Benar beach camp site has a closed off section only for naturists |

I'm interested in this. I make my annual pilgrimage and find Dennis's field a little limited with no showers.
Do you mean Benar Beach, on the other side of the road to Dennis's; or a field in the seaside estate; or somewhere else?

Down close to Barmouth mid August with a female friend who is becoming more & more adventurous, we are staying in a lovely little place with its own hot tub. Looking forward to the trip and seeing what Barmouth has to offer! Maybe looking for a little fun! Is there more than just the naturist beach to allow us to have some fun? What can we expect? |

I am exceedingly jealous of all who are there this weekend. It looks a cracker.
I hope it holds for a couple of weeks when I'm there!

Aw, that's a disappointment. I'm there for a long weekend, so I'll be gone by the 14th. But yes, I'll be camping - just trying to decide between Dennis's field and Benar Beach.

Well, it looks like the weather this Thursday is going to be damp. Might by the day for walking the hills.

Well thank you to the wonderful young couple from Chester that we had the pleasure of meeting up with today in the the glorious dunes the fun was out of this world off into the the Last inn in barmouth tonight for a nice meal back in the dunes 1600 hrs ish Friday. |

We are planning two weekends 16th and 23rd August in Barmouth near the beach. Anyone got any recommendations for a Motorhome site near the naturist beach?

Shell Island accommodates motorhomes but there are no electric hook ups |

We was in the middle row about half way down, With a little jack russle dog.
Most people wear flying flags so it would be hard to identify you if we didn't know what you were flying lol. We stated before we left to keep you eyes out for a Welsh hot air balloon. |

If this weather holds out for next weekend.
We will be on Denis's field from Friday until Monday.
Keep your eyes out for a Welsh hot air balloon flying from the tent and a Jack Russel dog with a face that looks like a badger. Drop by for a cuppa and chat. |

If you head for Tal-y-Bont from Barmouth you’ll see a small church on the left , a sign post for dyffryn seaside estate, turn left there , when you’ve past Benar beach caravan park turn right , Dennis’s field is on the right,
