Started off with a converted Transit coachbuilt (which really guzzled petrol), moved on to a series of Elddis Autoquests, then changed to caravans. Now have a Burstner Belcanto 535 - heavy but well built, well equipped and comfortable.

Eriba (hymer) Nova 570 caravan.

Quirky and unusual 16yrs old but solid well built and dry. I look after it. My first caravan that I bought quite cheap 5 years ago.

Was not sure if I was going to enjoy towing and pitching up with fellow caravan and motorhome users but absolutely love it.

Am quite picky where I pitch up, as I like rural quiet locations. Hence I am a member of the C&MH Club, which I recommend.

Found some brilliant locations which I would never have discovered without a caravan, some not more than an hour from home and further afield.

The odd fab adventure too !!

Rapido orline folding caravan nowadays, it fits in the garage, still get 40 mpg when towing it, and there's only us and the dog, so more than enough room.

Had various twin and single axle tourers over the years, and even dabbled with a vw campervan for a bit..

"Vango Evoque 6 airbeam tent"

Might be selling it as we can't take 2 bikes now when we camp and its to big for tent, pillion and rider. We have a slightly smaller air beam now for that now

We used to have a motorhome but decided to change it to a sterling elite caravan, love the space of the caravan and the ease of jumping in the car to get around in but miss the convenience of the motorhome
