No European holidays for us so back to my favourite.

Camping, proper camping no luxury campervan or caravan.

Tent it's the only way to get the real camping experience,so anyone recommend some decent site's realistic travelling distance from Portsmouth area.

So really west or east however open to Cotswolds and east Anglia.

Only really want quiet one's away from all the middle class yobs who think camping means PARTY.

If you should be lucky enough to get up to Scotland I know a few realy lovely places wild and remote to an extent lol.

Planning on hiking through the Snowdonia National Park next year, will have my little tent, just in case, but plan on spending my nights under my tarp
