You can't legally wild camp anywhere in England but in places such as the Lake District as long as you are high up, considerate and "leave no trace" it's tollerated

Yeah you can still wild camp as long as your above around 400 metres your all good and leave no trace always has to be done there are a lot that ruin it for a lot off other people
