Hello you beautiful people after our recent visit to studland we found we rather enjoyed being outside and in the nude, we are now considering a naturist campsite. We live in Dorset so do any of you have any recommendations? |

It largely depends on how far you wish to travel and whether or not you have a caravan/tent/motorhome etc.
There are quite a few really good naturist sites in the south, so not too far for you to travel.
Acorns near Tiverton Deven, very good and they have statics for rent if required.
Apollo Sun Club near Brighton.
Manor Farm, Strete, Devon.
Avonvale Sun Club on the Hants/Dorset border.

Only naturist campsite we can thing of in Dorset is Studland Summer Camp near Corfe. We've stayed there before, we liked it and great location (especially for Studland beach). However a couple of things to note. It's (as the name suggests) only open durring the school summer holiday se a season and around the May Bank Holiday for a bit too. Also the camp itself is no a slope and the access roads are incredibly tight with some steep gradients. May not be suitable for caravans and large campers. The site is very basic and rustic (I know it's not everyone's cup of tea). Basically a field with non flushing compost type toilets and a communal yurt with fire pit for the social space.
Also if your willing to travel to the other side of Portsmouth just into Cornwall you have Carbeil near Looe. Lovely little site, but small so can be hard to get a pitch in peak season. Has an outdoor swimming pool, hotub and bar/clubhouse. Caravan pitches as well. But due to tight roads and hills may still be a challenging drive for towed and long/wideWithin walking distance of a known naturist beach and so close to other beautiful places). Only down side is the site doesn't have any grounds/space to go wondering off in au naturel.
There's Manor Farm camp near Slapton in Devon. That is textile and naturist. We've never been so can't vouch for if it's any good. |
