I've done a little wild camping in woods and copses in and around Berks/Hants/Wilts, and I'm looking do more and to travel further afield.

A tent is ok but I prefer a hammock and tarp, and the woods are better for privacy. I'd definitely be up for going with a buddy.

Hard to beat a well set up hammock for comfort especially when using quilts rather than a sleeping bag. My biggest dilema is usually which hammock. My fallback option is tarp and bivvy as I don't own a tent.

Got lots of amazing places that I like to wild camp in the lakes.. Let me know if you'd both like a little company for a hike, camp and maybe a bit of fun and laughter when the sun sets.
