From other threads you have to be really lucky to get a random meet as it area has so many possible areas to chose from - you could have 20 couples out and not one would be at the same spot.

I suspect it's best to plan a meet in the area

Me & the Mrs have had the paddle board on Windermere, Coniston & Ullswater along with a few bike rides

Windermere and Coniston are my usual go to lakes as they are only approx 10 minutes way.

Sat in bowness chatting to a couple for an hour or so, then the hubby chirps up do you ever go to swing clubs in Blackpool? Ice well n truly broken. Unfortunately booze had taken its toll
