Putting up a tent is very much like making love to a beautiful woman. Unzip the door, put up your pole, and slip into the old bag

I enjoy wild camping myself, though I don't mix it with Fab. At my age, I like my creature comforts when I play!

Camping and campervan for me, but done plenty of illicit wild camping in my years. Where in the Peak District do people like to hang out?

I'm into Bikepacking but often the nearest I get to "wild" camping in the Peaks is the old Mam Tor rd in the motorhome...

Not a fan off those wild campers that leave a mess but if there’s fun to be had why not

Here and There

Love a bit of wild camping, little tent, pitched in the dark behind some bushes, wake up in the morning to find you're in the farmers garden... whoops.

All seriousness though would love to find some spots near climbing/bouldering areas, especially as the weather is warming up x

Take nothing but photographs,

Leave nothing but footprints...

I was taught this from an early age I don't understand why others can't be respectful of their surroundings..

Wild camping is great,

I have the luxury of a private permission woodlandup near blackpool. sling my hammock & tarp, get the fire going then I'm set for 2 or 3 nights.

Spring, autumn & winter best times.

We wild camp in our campervan and take all our rubbish and waste home. It tends to be those in tents that leave a mess with kitchen roll and body waste. We have noticed its also more the younger ones that walk away and leave it for others to clean up. Perhaps bigger fines would be the way to go for litter.

I agree with you and what a lovely quote, I find it incredibly disrespectful and upsetting when I see so much litter in beautiful locations.

I regularly wild camp in the peaks and further afield, high up and out of the way typically. Leave no trace
