Any fabbers out there at the moment. |

In France we usually use the Camping Car Aires (not the motorway ones). We have the Vicarious Books guides but many sources of info are available and they are well signed from roads anyway. There is a nice one at Broglie which we use fairly often - small charge but it is almost a campsite. Otherwise it is just random - stop when we are tired.
We also use the France Passion scheme where you can stay on farms or vinyards free of charge.
For campsites, we usually don't stay on many but when we do we use naturist ones. As we have family with us we go to family orientated ones - La Petite Brenne is nice but we haven't had a really bad one yet. Again we just use the satnav or Google to search for one and ring them up when we are there. |

Many French towns and villages have free overnight camping car places available - just turn up and park.
It’s to deter wild camping which many places ban. |
