Motorhome/Camper fun South
Jump to: Newest in thread
Having a motorhome it frustrates us a bit how little of a camping nature seems to happen around the South. Lots of Fabbers seem active in caravans and campers across the North, West Country, Midlands, Scotland and Wales - but next to nothing near us (sad face). Are there any Fab campers looking to get out this summer around Berkshire Hampshire Surrey Buckinghamshire Oxfordshire West-Sussex? |

We enjoy Max's Garden near Pulborough, country pub "Brit Stops" in Surrey (we're a bit further south than our stated location) and Studland Beach / Wareham in Dorset. Who else here might be interested in Southern camping weekends in their home on wheels this summer? Answers on a postcard. |

Before the pandemic I was organizing a social gathering at Brean.
As you know everything was put on hold.
It was going to be a social where there would have been rounders/ volleyball / badminton during the day. And a bring your own food to the BBQ in the evening.
Over the weekend.
It just needs someone to take the lead to organize it.

Yes it’s a shame there are not more of these kind of weekends away. Just been away in my VW camper and I would have been nice to find some fellow fab campers to socialise with and maybe have some more fun as the sun went down. Be interested to know if there are any camp outs in the summer. |

we have a transit conversion and would like to have a semi organised meet with other nudist/swinging campers. Nothing in the South like this that we can find other than Gems. Perhaps we should look to borrow a piece of land for a green weekend. Nothing provided just the pitch |

Oops. Buggered up the first message.
Just for those who are not aware..........the Naturist Foundation is strictly a Naturist Club, not a Swingers Club or a combination of the two.
We go there and it's a lovely place to be naked, chill and relax.
Any playing would have to be very discreet and kept to your van / tent and any swinging chat kept a bit hush hush as that's frowned upon.
If you like to be naked without the sexual side, enjoy it for what it is. Everyone we have met there has been very friendly. |

Here there and everywhere |
My neighbour owns the fields behind my house and since lockdown he has advertised the space on pitchup...
It would be a lot of fun to know a few of his overnight guests were getting up to naughty shenanigans... |

I don't have my own camper but I have access to a hire fleet I regularly use through work. On another not I'm actually a fully qualified motorhome technician if anyone has any problems I'd always try and help |

I've found there isn't much for outdoor camp meets too. I've just got in to "van life" and split my time between Kent (Deal) and Hampshire (Fareham).
Be interested to keep an eye on this, see what pops up around Fareham. |
