Our beach of choice.
Always fun in the sun, we get there when we can.
Parking at Strete Gate car park is always filling up by 9:30 am so get there early (pay with RingGo app).
Beach fly campers were real pain during covid - rubbish, noise and poo. Hopefully with camp sites open again it will return to being serene and sultry.
Enjoy! |

I’m heading down this way in July and staying nearby with friends (non-Fab). I wonder if there are any couples staying at Manor Farm in Strete, who might like a visitor? |

"Hoping to head down to Devon end of July, start of August. Any advice on which part of Slapton beach is the naturist part? Straight man just hoping to catch a bit of all over sun."
It’s the north east end of the beach near Strete. Between the toilet block and the cliffs |

Slapton isn’t sandy - there are small patches of course sand especially down at the tide line, but the beach is mainly course gravel like texture as opposed to soft sand - it’s a bugger to walk on, because your feet sink as the aggregate moves. It is however beautiful and has plenty of room for many things! |

"Hi guys
Where is slapton naturist beach please and best place to park the car "
Twixt Kingsbridge and Dartmouth. Park at Strete Gate bottom of hill from Strete down to Slapton and go past the loos and walk left. |

As described above it’s by Strete Gate - best route from Tavi is probably down through Cadover to a38 at Ivybridge, then up to South Brent and through Diptford and straight across to Slapton village (the field centre is there) then left onto Slapton Line to the end where Strete Gate is - walk out of car park and turn left on beach and keep going until you see naked people! It’s past the old winch which you will see as you walk along. Weds and Thursday looking good there! x |

Beautiful day at Slapton beach on Friday. Not sure what it is usually like but it seemed there were lots of naturists there yesterday. Sun all day and sea nice and calm, perfect for paddleboarding. |
